I have a Brother DCP8070D printer which is not colour so I decided to buy a brother colour one as I have been very happy with it. The old one allows me to load several pages on the tray but the new one only allows one at a time and it has nothing to rest on. I would not have bought it had I realised. Otherwise it does everything I need.

Never recommend to buy this product

Not happy at all.poor performance

Excellent machine for home use or small business. VERY easy to set up and run. Excellent with Apple devices (AirPrint). I had changed my 10 Year old Samsung Laser printer which served me well but once I moved to Apple could no longer used. However this feel snappier, quieter and warming up and first print quite faster. Nevertheless those were not my priority as I use in home office environment but Air Print functions here on this Brother printer become essential for me.

It is doing what I need and being connected to the WiFi makes printing from alL devices so much easier than my previous printer. I am still to use all functions so cannot give it 5/5 yet but so far happy with the printer

The printer works very well, but consumes huge amounts of toner! One cartridge lasts only 170 sheets. I've now used almost 20 cartridges in a few weeks and therefore the cost of printing has been 1,14€/sheet, which to me is outrageous. I was very happy with the previous very similar Brother printer/scanner I had for over 10 years, but this purchase was definitely a mistake.

Brought this to replace my Epson eco tank which wasn’t working properly because I didn’t use it enough and I was told that the laser printer was better if you don’t use it often I’ve had no problem yet

This printer is far better than my last smaller printer. It's fast, quiet and prints on both sides should you wish. The printing is clear and colour is good

I bought this printer to replace an older one and so far, so good. It’s easy to set up and use; the print quality is good and scanning documents is easy.

Needed a new printer and thought this would be a good replacement. It does everything I need it to. It has a Fax capability, but who uses Fax these days. A bit of a waste of tech. Prints are really good and the duplex saves paper. Scanning either by the document feeder or the flatbed is good. The down side of the printer is the cost of the toner.. will have to go see the bank manager for a loan.

I bought this to replace 10year old Brother DCP-9020CDW. Physically and functionally similar but the 9020 is still printing with good quality. The 3740 is a constant battle against drum errors and quality issues. I have spent 100s changing cartridges and drums but barely a week goes by without it stopping with a toner or drum problem even when the print quality is good. The software seems to be created to encourage you to change drums early. I prefer to use the 9020 for consistent performance. It gives a drum error occasionally but that does not cause it to stop printing. I have just bought a Brother 6955 and am praying for less problems.

Taattua laatua.

Käyttömukavuutta alensi ohisyötössä hidas paperin sisäänotto

Following research into several options, Brother won on virtually all considerations.

Recently purchased my printer to replace an inkjet. For the price I paid I am extremely happy with my purchase. The footprint is small and it also has all the features I require. I am very happy with the print quality it is fast and reasonably quiet. All in all a good buy.

Followed the instructions to download the software but although happy with IT normally, am still frustrated after a month.

Have the iPrint &scan installed but says it needs the full package. Have tried many times to install, hd VPN both off and on, have uninstalled all Brother software and tried to do a clean install but still little progress.

They badly need to sort out the sofware.

So quick crisp easy to read once printed ink jer used to clog if you did not use it for a while

The printer connected to my ageing PC with no problems. As a former professional printer I was impressed with the results straight out of the box

Used to have an ink jet . It was a nightmare , loud and constant paper jams etc. and limited features.

This printer is amazing , no paper jams, quiet and I love how you can connect it to multiple devices and print. I’ve found this very handy when using my phone or other machines.

The printing quality is also top notch , very crisp.

The Printer is a bit bulky , but at the same time smaller than many alternatives.

Helppo asentaa verkkoon ja käyttää. Tulostusjälki on hyvä sekä mustavalkoisena että värillisenä.

Quality is good only scans one side which is a real shame, really lets the thing down:(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The printer is easy to set up and easy to use, especially through the app.

The app is straight forward, easy to follow and quick to use.

The printer is quiet and quick when printing (it sounds a lot louder in my video than in person).

The print quality seems very high, good resolution and colour quality.

The ink subscription is a great idea and makes it very easy to keep your ink topped up at all times without needing to remember to get new ink. It also gives you a great discount on ink!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I need to print a lot for work and and having to go to the office all the time to print if i needed anything This printer has been so helpful and good, im able now able to print documents within seconds! The quick print and quality is amazing,

Changing toner cartridge is easy to replace.

I love that i can Connect the printer to devices via WiFi. And also using the app i can print from anywhere not having to worry if i am on the go and need to print somethings. The speed of printing and quality so good. That really helps when i have many documents to print in a short time scale

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brilliant product for home or office use, easy to set up. The packaging was brilliant, enabled for easy access to get the printer out of the box. I love that it enables you to do many things such as scan, copy fax and print from the comfort of your own home. The writing on the box captures the printer perfectly ‘smarter home office printing’.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Packaging of this product is clever, a strong handled carrier enables you to lift the device out of the box. There are lots of packaging tape strips and protective transport features that have to be removed first but show care has been taken to ensure it gets to you without damage. Once the toner orange plastic travel caps have been removed the printer literally just needs plugging and it’s ready to go. Connecting to WiFi can be done using manual method to enter key or using the button on your router. Have downloaded software onto my mobile and it enables quick registration and then a five minute download and install of the firmware.. so print quality and features. First job was to produce a copy using the auto feeder at the top, good quality print out and paper fed through to scan automatically which was great. Next came print from phone, easy to to do with iOS phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this product is great for use in the home office; it is a decent size to be effective but not take up too much room iin an environment where space is limited. The printing quality is that of an office or work environment and is so much quicker and more effecive than my old ink based printer.
