Very happy with equipment

Can't review as it appears to be broken so have not used yet. Support is great though!

We brought this printer to replace an old printer that used cartridges which cost a fortune and as it was used irregularly often clogged. This should work out cheaper and the print heads are accessible for cleaning if required (only had a few weeks so far). Print quality is very good, including photographs. Remarkably easy to set up to both a Mac and a Windows PC, but it does need manually waking up if not used for a few days, no problem just press the start button. Happy to recommend.

So far so good. Very easy to set up.

The novelty is wireless, but it works seamlessly. Ink tanks were a particular priority so I shall be interested to see how they compare with cartridges which always seemed to have a short life.

Front loading and printing was a priority, too, and so much easier in a restricted space.

The scanner was an extra I didn't particular look for but I look forward to exploring its potential for direct printing as well as scanning.

I purchased this printer a few weeks ago as a replacement for my previous Canon printer, which I had to leave in Canada. I have always used Canon printers as they are reliable, the print quality is great and the programming is easy. This new one is no exception. Not having to replace cartridges is great as it saves time and money.

The only difference I have noticed is this model is heavier than my previous printers but it is not a problem.

I bought this having read the reviews in Which magazine & I’ve got to say how disappointed I am - it’s got such a weak internet chip installed that unless it’s in the same room as the modem it’s impossible to AirPrint & certainly not from my desktop in a different room, which my far cheaper HP printer previously always managed! So NO I wouldn’t recommend it!!

Bought to replace a 16 year old Pixma 630. It's better - and worse. Set to detect an incoming signal, it gets printing fast, and the duplex works fine. Colour printing from desktop or scans lacks impact compared to the old cartridge printer. That doesn't much matter for my use, but I wouldn't want to use it for an important presentation and certainly not for printing photos, not that I've done that for years. Overall, it's fine for my specifications. I don't have a feel yet of how fast the ink goes down, or how often the maintenance cartridge needs replacing.

I gave up A3 printing to have a small and tidy printer in the corner of my living room

Bought this printer approximately a month and a half ago. Delivery was a promised and set up including filling ink tanks easy. Up to now pleased with the product.
