This is the third Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphone that I have used over the past six months. It is commendable that the company replaced them under warranty, but I am not entirely satisfied with their reliability, despite the excellent sound quality.

Amazing sound worth the money no headphones are better

Bought these a couple of weeks back and by far have been the best headphones I've ever had (only ever really been able to get budget headphones). The sound quality is wonderful, the app lets you adjust levels easily to provide a custom listening experience, there's no distortion. HOWEVER. the slightest movement like running, or especially commuting I'm unable to listen to my music without distortion throughout the entirety of the trip. The slightest bump or movement on the bus, the headphones fuzz or distort no matter what setting you have it on, be it aware, immersive or otherwise. They're excellent for relaxed listening. Don't thinking a long haul bus trip will be smooth sailing.

Noise cancelling is so great I could immediately transport to a quieter space when in a busy airport / plane.

Sound quality is great that I am looking forward to putting them on in my commute. Highly recommend it

Very comfortable, amazing sound, decent ANC, however bluetooth connection is so bad. If disconnected, you will need to either delete dive and add agin or restart device.

Exceptional and thoughtful, get this if you can. With Gen 2 releasing in a few weeks I’ll have to see how much good they can get. Only wish the battery lasted longer.

I had used my previous pair of over-ear headphones for about five years and decided to upgrade them. I heard that the Bose QuietComforts were one of the best so bought them online.

As soon as I tried the demo for the immersive audio, my jaw dropped!!! The sound is insanely impressive and a significant improvement from my previous pair of headphones. They are also very light, and I can barely sense that they are on my head.

The noise cancellation is very high, I would say it’s about 98% and you cannot hear any buzzing. You can adjust the level of noise cancellation on the Bose app according to your preference. The app is very intuitive and easy to use, especially for switching modes and adjusting the EQ of your music.

The Wind Block feature is absolutely game changing for when I go for walks, it completely cancels out the whistling of the wind through the headphones.

Overall I am really impressed with the design, performance and sleekness of the product and it’s 100% worth the money.

Expensive headphones but I would say probably worth it as the sound quality is so good. Only issue is the noise leakage. It’s a shame. Additionally, noise cancellation isn’t perfect which I kinda expected with the price.

I highly recommend these headphones as they really do sound good. Pairing up with a phone with high grade audio really works, the sound is beautiful imo.

I got these headphones for a trip to Japan, mostly for the plane. The noise cancellation was absolutely fantastic and didn't affect the quality. The battery lasts very well, they only went down to 40% just before the journey home.

Phone calls were clear and the mic picks up very well.

I bought this 3 months ago, the only problem I have experience is the ear foam which is easily damage and is difficult to buy for replacement

I’m now the owner of a second pair of Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones - the first was returned the day after they arrived due to a hissing sound which set in after a few minutes. Already disappointed by the faulty pair, and Bose’s chosen courier which seemed intent on taking their time to return them, a call to Bose meant the replacement pair arrived sooner than they’d initially said they would and I have to say, they’re really good. I only have the QuietComfort Ultra earbuds to compare them to and whilst they’re also brilliant, the headphones are better still, being more comfortable over a few hours. The noise cancellation is superb and the modes offered can be set via the Bose app, or from one of two buttons on the right headphone. I’m not the most technical of people, so the simplicity of a mode button, a Bluetooth button, and a volume sensor which works by sliding your finger against it works for me. When I answered a phone call on them yesterday we could hear one another without any unwanted background noise, and I wandered around the house with my phone charging in a cradle several rooms away without the signal being interrupted (just remember to set the call auto answer function to off so it doesn’t automatically answer spam callers telling you about a crash you didn’t have).

They fold away neatly into a smart case which has a pocket to stash away a connecting and a charging cable, and the charge holds for quite a while. After sending back the first pair I expected these to be just as poor and promised myself if I was sent a request to review them the bad pair would earn these just one star, but they’re not, they’re brilliant and I’m impressed with them. Five stars all round.

These pair of headphones are incredible. The controls are the best I've seen, the noise-cancelling is unrivalled, the sound quality is as good as a pair of noise-cancelling headphones can get. The sound stage and sound profile is, coming from an ex Sennheiser in-ear user, very wide and crystal clear. The track separation is INCREDIBLE. Listening to greatly mixed songs on this is a bliss. My only critisism would be the lack of base aptX codec. It has aptX adaptive and Qualcomm sound certification etc.. but Samsung phones only have base aptX for some reason, and these currently run on AAC on my phone. Bose, please fix!
