I have used Philips rotary shavers for years. recently upgrade to the Phillips S9000 prestige and have not been disappointed. The shave it gives is definitely the closest and smoothest I have had from an electric shaver. It is comfortable and easy to use and the included washer keeps it very clean and healthy. Although you can leave it in the washer I prefer once it has drained to remove it to let it dry. It does not come with a stand for this but luckily my son has 3D printed the perfect stand which holds the shaver vertical and also holds the trimmer attachment. Its a pity this was not included.

I bought the Philips S 9000 Prestige shaver, which is very good, despite the cost of 4999 Swedish kronor.

Unfortunately the travel case provided is too small and I am hoping to get the correct one - some day!

The right case is important to protect both the charger and the shaver and had I been given the correct one I would have awarded five stars. Stop cutting yourself with antique razor blades and buy the best 9000 series shaver you can afford.

The shaving heads are too far back from the edge of the blade body and for some very strange reason my modal is not suitable to work with any of the cleaning pods, ????? Come on Philip's you can do better

Bought at the right price this is an excellent electric razor. Powerful and easy to clean.

I bought this razor to replace a previous one. Yes, it shaves well but that depends on how long you make your shave session. The best shaves come from using it wet with shave gel. I always brush it out after a shave using a cut down pastry brush. Then run under the tap and dry every so often. The brush supplied doesn't work well enough for me. The foil coating allows an easy glide over the skin and I like the digital read out feature which shows that I take 8% to 10% battery life for a shave. I'm still experimenting with the 3 different cutter speeds which is nice to have. All in all, a very good product.

Having used a 9000/series razor for the last 10 years, it was, even after a blade change, not quite doing the job. The very first time I used my new SP9983 was a revaluation and quite amazing! It is smooth, quiet and glides over the skin, resulting in the closest shave I’ve had in years. It charges quickly and the cleaning process (approximately 60 seconds) is brilliant. I highly recommend this razor to anyone who is looking for an upgrade or an improvement to their shaving regime.

It is a very good shaver and does a good job also very ergonomic to hold.

Used time would be better in bars, as showing in percentages of an hour, this makes a challenge first thing in the morning questioning whether charge will last!

Very satisfied. It is my second S9000 and as good as before.

Admittedly, I might sound too effusive after just having purchased. But if early results are anything to go by, the shaving experience is a world of difference from my now abandoned previous shaver which sounded like a lawn mower. The best feature is how quietly the shave is. I had to check if it was on! No telltale sign of stubble. Not so much as a whisker (pun intended). On the whole, I am very happy with my purchase which was a valentine gift to myself. Here's looking at you kid!

2020 7000 series gave a close quick easy shave but this seems to miss most hairs and have to use more force like the blades are further away and not as sharp. I thought more expensive would mean the best and better than an old model but sadly not the case. A major costly purchase for me that I could barely afford but needed unless I wanted to give up and look like an ape. So very disappointing that it has the design but doesn’t do the job too much attention to gimmicks like not plugging in to charge… who cares? It’s basic functionality of shaving is a failure.

Better and closer shave than top of the range Braun that I purchased regrettably 6 months ago. With Philips you don't get any shavings falling from shaver whilst in use unlike Braun which drops as much as it collects.

It feels good to hold, love the colour of the shaver too. The wireless charging bay is awesome too

I've had many Philishavers over the years and this the 9000 Prestige is the best yet. Smooth and silky to hold, quiet ,big display beautiful travel case which can hold your hair and nose trimmer.It's easy to clean especially if you use the Quick Clean Pod just one minute does the job. Best shave I've ever had.

I changed from the top of the range Braun to this. Simply because replacement blades are half the price of Braun. I am so glad I did. Shaved as good as Braun if not better. I suffered with razor burn years ago when using a Rotary shaver. No problem with this one. Very quiet, great battery life and a brilliantly simple cleaning station. I love it.

Had the smoothest shave to-date compared to my Philips 7000 The sideburn and nose trimmer works well charging the razor after every shave on the IQ pad ensures it is always ready to use, clean your blades with the solution it makes the blades clean and fresh.This product is a little pricey but is worth it if you’d like to treat yourself

If the last model was so great, what makes this better

and you still have to buy disposable’s forever

So far it is a very good shaver. But after a while the share heads doesn't fitting insude in the shaver and therfore you can't use the shaver anymore. It must be replaced with an other.
