I've been using this Philips shaver for a while now, and I'm really pleased with its performance. It works smoothly, effectively, and delivers a great shave every time. Overall, it's a solid, high-quality product. I would love to upgrade to a Series 9000 model, but the price tag is simply too high, and it seems unlikely I'll be able to afford one even in the distant future as they remain quite expensive. For now, this model fulfills my needs very well. The only drawback for me is the ongoing cost of the cleaning solutions/cartridges, which are a bit too expensive to repurchase regularly. Other than that, I highly recommend it!

Philips S7887/35 razor.

After 4 months use, I am still happy with my Philips razor. But there are some niggles though and improvements that could be made.

1. My first shave with it tore brilliantly through my 4 day stubble. However since then it feels like the sharpness of the blades has dulled and I have to go over my face multiple times to get a close shave. Maybe the blades aren't as good as more expensive models.
2. The case isn't big enough. The hard case that it comes with collects some of the shaving deposits and spoils the case. A bag would be more practical, not just because it's lighter, but a bag could also accommodate the base charger, USB lead and cleaning brush. The case isnt big enough to do that.
3. The user booklet that came with the razor isn't great. I couldn't understand what all the various warning lights meant; the booklet isn't clear on this.

Poor cutting - it is almost impossible to get a close shave

excellent shaver; even recommended for bears of 4 or 5 days of age: it removes them very softly. But i got the shaver version that only support a charger; if I would like to get the rest of the set: the cleaner, the trimmer head, nose cleaner head, etc,,, is it possible? and where and how can i get them?

Excellent in use. Very quiet. Just a pity no head cover included as in previous models.

the series 7000 shaver is a competent razor. I previously had a 7000 wit multi cutting heads which was a superior shave. My new 7000 series shaver is certainly equal to the 3000 series it replaced.

The shaving guide is variable. Using circular motions the light on the razor can still show red, other times it will show green & there seems to be no logical reason for when it shows a red or green icon?

Also the battery lasts no longer than the 3000 series it replaced.

Over all this razor does a good job & is way better than any foil shaver.

I have tried various electric shavers over the years, always resorting back to a wet shave to get a close shave. This I needed due to my occupation. However years after having to give up work a decided to give this Philips razor a go. I have to say I'm very impressed, it gives a very close shave, I am really impressed

I purchased this shaver as a kit, including the cleaning system. Although I have used electric shavers for over 40 years, I decided to buy a new one as a retirement present to myself.

Phillips, being leaders in electric shavers, was my only choice. Having owned a few in the past. This shaver is not cheep, but the shaver was on offer, so purchased. I must say, it’s easy to hold, large handle and nice size head. Simple control to turn on and offf. Easy to open the head to clean, although I have yet to dismantle the blades as I don't see the need at the moment.

The electronics in the shaver connect to their free App, it’s a useful app to get you going, especially on how to properly get the best shave. Do not really use it that much.

The cleaning kit is a game changer. Although it’s not a new system, it’s the first one I have had, and I like its simplicity. A quick rinse under the tap after a shave to remove most bits, then on to the holder and press power on. It automatically knows it on the cleaning tank and it does a clean for a few minutes, auto switching off.

Shave quality is very good. Being a premium shaver, it has a very close shave and the large head, with its shaped sides allows for easy reach to those hairs under the nose.

The handy flip out trimmer is ideal as a sideburn trimmer and at the easy especially as I wear glasses, to remove wayward hair around my ears.

I would recommend this shaver as its very good quality, long warranty, easy to charge and clean and should last a very long time.

Bought this product after a recent hospital stay, I can honestly say I’ve always preferred a wet shave. This shaver has completely changed my mind. A clean shave and no cuts I will not go back to wet shaves. Recommended

Vaihdoin toisen tyyppisestä Braun koneesta sen tultua teknisen ikänsä päähän. Täytyy todeta, että Philipsillä muutamat hankalat kohdat, kuten leuan alusalueet tulevat paremmin ajetuksi. Puhdistettavuus vaikuttaa hyvältä ja huoltoasema toimivalta.

The razor is about 4 years old and started to come apart , the app is pointless and few times the app crashed blades and cartridges are expensive thinking to switch to Braun razor

Great shave, both wet and dry. Charges up really quickly and battery lasts a very long time. I almost never use a razor any more.
