Does what it says on the tin!! Easy to use, long lasting battery, nice close shave, one of the closest I have had. Excellent value. Thank you.

This my first experience with a rotary and sad to say I'm not too impressed. I chose the 5000 series because of the faster revs but it just doesn't give me a clean shave. The motor seems to labour and I have to go over my beard many times to get some smoothness. I now alternate between a wet blade shave and the Phillips, not what I was hoping for.

It's well made, cleaning is a doddle, but rather disappointing..

I’ve tried a few and this is the best shave for wet and dry.

Had this for about 4 weeks,very pleased with product,I find it superior to my old 3000 series,but you do pay a premium for the 5000 series,battery lasts a good time ,I also find it easier to clean than my older model,the only criticism would be the position of the on off button,but you do get accustomed to this after a short period,I would definitely recommend this product.

Not so good... shame existing Philips charger and accessories from my old shaver could not be transferred.... cleaning tank, charger, replacement foils etc....

I have had 3 Phillips razors in the past the first more than 30 years ago was fault less coming with a had quite elegant case as well as cleaning accessories, it lasted for many,many years with no problems at all. I couldn’t praise this enough, and that being the case I have only ever bought Philips replacements. Each one has been a little less good. I have now had my latest one bought for me as a gift and cannot understand the difference in the quality, especially as you now have to purchase the charger/ lead separately, most people I am sure would assume you received a charger/ lead as part of your purchase, it’s not as though previous leads fit this model.

This has really put me off buying Phillips again, I am very disappointed with this purchase.

My old electric razor broke after about 20 years of use so I chose another Phillips. Shaves close and lasts a reasonable time between charges. Good all round product.

after using razor for years, i purchased this shaver and its easy to use whether wet or dry.

If I would of pay the full price before sale I would of sent it straight back. It takes about 10 minutes to have the shaver with results and still leaves loads of air on me.

I have had exactly the same shaver for a couple of years & decided to buy another for my holiday property in Spain. I took the old one to Spain & kept the new one here. Oddly the new one, although good, doesn't seem to shave as close as the old one. I am putting this down to the fact it is new & maybe needs 'running in'.

Shaves better than my previous shaver especially around my nose. Blades not as easy to clean though.

The Razor is fine, but I bought it to replace my ageing 7000 series. I quickly realised that my old one felt much more comfortable in my hands whilst shaving so took the new blades and foils from the new one and put them in my old one - perfect. I'll keep the new one in a drawer just in case! To be fair the integral trimmer on the new one is better, just the ergonomics don't feel right

Having finally upgraded from the old 3000 model to the 5000, I have found the new shaver to be a significant improvement. I now get a very smooth shave and takes less time to do so than the previous shaver.

The reason I have only given four stars is because of the time it sometimes takes me to fit in the blades after cleaning. The locking of the final piece of a blade in particular can be very time consuming and does not always lock in properly. This may be that I am a "senior citizen" and as time goes on I may hopefully find the refitting easier.

I was given a philishave razor for my 21st birthday and used it for many many years. Roll on fifty years and I was considering getting a new cordless razor. Having bought a Braun series 9 which I used for a couple of years dropped it in the shower and tried to get it repaired which didn’t prove cost effective. I looked around and the most cost effective solution was to purchase a Philips, which I did. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with how good it was and looked. It was like welcoming home an old friend.

Tuntuu ajavan tehokkaasti ja tarkasti. Hiljaisempi kuin 8 vuotta vanha Philips 3120. Pitkulainen runko tuntuu vähän oudolta käteen, mutta siihen varmaan tottuu. Helppo puhdistaa.

Helppo puhdistaa. Akku kestää hyvin. Hassua että pitää käyttää USB-laturia, mutta toimii.

Coming from blade, to electric after 45 years of shaving I found the initial experience a little sore and time consuming. After finding my footing and relaxing my approach to the task I found that the machine was very capable of a perfect shave in under 5 minutes. Having had to shave twice a day for most of my adult life this ha s saved time and is as good as a single blade shave
