The shaver is one of the best ones I have had But he ther was i not much cleaning fluid in the pot must have missed quilts control

Great shave Excellent in all respects. Very pleased.

I bought Philips electric shaver 5000 series, I am very disappointed that the USB is not included, the protective blade cover is not included neither, it's only a cheap plastic cover, to protect the blade, it is not hygienic without the cover, come on Philips, what are you doing ? Surely you can include a cover and USB for your shaver, it's disappointing.

Very good shaver, just what I wanted. Shaves Very well from a one day growth to a 3 or 4 day growth.

Really easy to use & clean. It has a nice, sure-grip feel while shaving. Gives me a really smooth comfortable shave, every time. Recharging is simple with the USB connection cable & the battery lasts ages (over a month) between recharges, despite daily use. I've just returned from holidaying abroad & the lock button worked perfectly well. There's a protective cap too. The shaver, brush, cap & cable fit easily into the drawstring bag provided ~ once filled, I stowed the bag inside a shoe in my hold baggage & had no concerns about the shaver accidentally starting during baggage handling!

After many years with wet shave razor blades and a few small nicks that bled a while etc I was gifted the shaver and I have persisted with it for some weeks. It seems to take me a long time say 5 -7 mins to get the daily stubble to be reduced to the smooth face I am used to. I am persisting. There was an issue with charging from a wall socket with usb outlets so I now have the 2 v 5 amp 3 pin outlet via a UK plug in unit.

I am 77 and will keep trying to avoid the cuts.

I like the razor, but would be better if:-

1.0 had a charger that plugged into the bathroom mirror socket as they used to.

2.0 doesn’t really cut/shave into the corners and contours of my face for example under my nose.

Very good product gives a super herb close shave nice and light and needed to handle easy to clean so far of always used it dry. Quick charging and one gets plenty of shaves from a full charge. Well worth the money

Overall quite good. Closeness of shave not as good as day 1 but I expected that. When washing out with clean water the next shave leaves a odor on the skin which requires a wash with soapy water to remove but again Overall I'm pleased 😀

The battery does not stay on 3 bars long enough for me!

Wanhasta Philips koneesta n. 250€. terät tylsyi noin 7v käytön jälkeen. Tämä uutukainen tuntuu saman veroiselta. Philips on olkut minulle vuosikymmmenien vakio patakone. Akku kestävä hyvän muotoinen käteen, kestävät terät jne. Ja hyvien koneiden hinta on tullut reilusti alaspäin. Ei enään tsrvitse laittaa euroja 250-300€ koneisiin.

Partakoneena ihan ok, pitemmälle sängelle 3-4 mm aika haastava, päivittäiseen ajoon perfekto0. Rajaaja hieman hankala kohdistaa kohteeseen. Sitten se isoin vika, miksei voi yhtä laturisovittajaa laittaa mukaan mikä on juuri tarkoitettu tälle koneelle Vatteineen ja Woltteineen. Jos rupeat käyttämää muita sovittajia kuten puhelimen ja muiden laitteiden kasvaa riski hajottaa tai polttaa koko kone.

1. Shaver is too big
2. It doesn't seem like the engine is operating anywhere near full capacity
3. Shaving isn't anywhere as quick and/or smooth as I expected

My husband never looked clean shaven with his previous razor. Now it is so quick & a brilliant result. We love the cleaning procedure. So quick & easy to do.pp

Very pleased with the shaver. Gives a good close shave, the motor is quiet in use and lasts a good time between charges. Much better than foil based shavers that I've used in the past. Only real problem is the size of the surround to the actual cutting heads is quite large, making it difficult to shave awkward areas like under the nose. The gliding properties of the head over the skin could also be improved a little. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with the shaver. An excellent buy.

I only gave this 4 stars as it didn't come with the charging base include, as my previous Philishave did, but al in al a good shaver.

So far so good. Nice set of items. Geting a good shave from the electric razor and the hair trimmer works well.

Very good so far especially on my neck, as at 78 it has become a bit flabby. Gives a good shave with little effort.

Bought this series 5000 shaver as a replacement for my older series 7000 shaver which had become increasingly more unreliable and difficult to use. The new series 5000 shaver delivers a close fascia shave, the added bonus was the nose hair trimmer.

Overall very pleased with purchase.

I am really pleased with the product BUT the recharging plug is extremely difficult to plug into the shaver! It is extremely difficult to fathom which way the plug fits as both sides are different but only very slightly.

I have less than perfect eyesight but had no difficulty with the socket on my previous Philips shaver.
