Taken by Xperia 1v . It was lovely the whole time to have it

I have to many apps which some I didn't install, there taking up to much storage and I'm thinking of doing a factory reset but I need to backup contacts and get original apps back

I got this phone a year ago. The photography pro camera and cinema is excellent. I have always purchased Sony phones for many years. Sony Xperia phone screens don't crack easily like other brands. I would highly recommend the Sony Xperia 1 V

IV had the phone for little over a year now. Half the screen is red. The battery dies within hours. The camera constantly freezes. I have epilepsy and it's not safe and the sad thing is noone wants this but the phone so I can replace it

There is no AI, and the cooling system lacks proper copper heat pipes, which is a shame at this price.

First had my sony experience in 2010 with a walkman w995. Ever since then i fell inlove with the brand. Used different models from then between cybershots and walkmans. When it got to xperia i had the xperia x1 which was my first xperience and it was cutting edge. During the years to date have had a couple and i applaud how the flagships had been. At the moment i am not really impressed with the phone. Yes ofcourse its my brand and i would still stick with it but with the market this has been a bit embarassing honestly. I know my review might not be read but just thought either ways had to do it because i believe in the great things of the brand. Flagships used to be innovative very appealing and it used to amaze to have a sony phone. Right now its just a phone with flagships that look the same because some companies in the industry are doing the same. Lose the bezels. The aluminum on my xperia 1 av is now dented and revealing. The paint is not impressive. The idea of having to control the camera is nice but the auto settings should the best like the cybershot but its not. Yes we have moved frok that but in comparison this is just a phone with a name that i stick to because im obsessed with it. I will not mention other brands because they mean nothing to me. I need my brand to come back. The speaker surround is great but the bass is not there. The mic is great at all the person on the other end complains. Why not put face i.d., make the themes more appealing make different ringtones. Make the phone more missable. Put a custom a.i. even check your advertising it seems we are always behind on everything yet we made the industry how it is now. Thats all from the making of Sony. Excuse the frustration but if this ever come your way please make a change be innovative again like what was written on the xpria boxes. For crying out loud i have to buy my own charging cable. Give us something to be proud about again be innovative again i ask of you. Give us our accessories again. Make a great and game changi design. I hope i did not leave out anything. Also the interface, we have had enough its time to bring out something new. Lose the sound haptics when playing music or watching a movie it uses up more power dont even know why you put it there. Need a phone that will make people's heads go like this 🤯

I have had my Xperia 1 V for roughly 5 months and I can honestly say it's absolutely outstanding for what I need in a phone music and movies it is just brilliant if you are watching 4K content the screen just comes alive it's hard to understand that is is a phone the clarity is well I find it hard to find the words to describe how good it is the 21:9 aspect ratio is perfect for my small hands plus the phone is lighter than most in it class

This phone really is a thing of beauty, I bought it as my other phone, (current Korean flagship)has started to feel heavy and too wide for my aging hands. I did try the Xperis 1 Vi also, that's great but too expensive for what I needed. I love the narrow form of the Xperia 1 v, the 4k screen and the separate camera pro apps, but I don't like having to use Google photos and Google message. The speakers are great as is the ability to add a memory card and wired headphones with the headphone jack. The native music app is a little basic, but it's great that I don't have to jump through hurdles to connect the audio in the car like I do the with the "other" phone, it just automatically connects. I had the Xperia 1i and 1ii when they first came out, they used to heat up quite alot, not an issue with the 1v unless there's some very heavy usage. Having said all that, I am not sure I will keep the phone, I actually bought the "other" phone brand new, direct from manufacturer, with trade in, for less than the xperia 1 v sells for now, and with the limited number of security updates has caused me to flip flop about keeping this phone because I truly love it. I just have a little niggling feeling that it isn't going to be the best option for my buck.

I bought this piece a big year ago, l was getting what l was expecting, but few months ago l've discovered that one game's - though l'm not using for long hours per day - board burnt in into the display and according to experts it would have been fixed with a costy display replacement only. Very dissatisfying!

I bought two of these phones a month ago for my wife and myself, as I had already had two previous Sony phones, so expected this to be even better however firstly the colour does not seem the same as advertised, it also comes with loads of apps that most people won't use, but an app like gallery that I had full of photos videos etc is not supported on this phone, also everything seems to be centered on Google which again is not what most people want .Then in the calendar your restricted to a few colours so you have little choice for each category, I have pointed this out before. So yes although this Sony phone the S1 V is a good phone it could have been much better.

This is my first Sony smartphone having been a long-time user of another well-known brand of Android handset. I subscribe to a quality music streaming service and wanted a new smartphone that would allow me to hear the music at its highest fidelity via a good pair of headphones (also Sony). I also wanted a 'phone with a high resolution screen. I read many reviews and finally settled on the Sony Xperia 1 V, hoping it would meet my requirements.

I was not disappointed! In fact, the Xperia 1 V far surpassed my wildest expectations in terms of audio quality and screen performance.

When fed with high resolution audio, the Xperia 1 V produces audiophile-quality sound. My previous smartphones were also good in this area but the Xperia 1 V takes audio reproduction to the next level for a smartphone. Dynamic range, stereo sound staging and imagery, transient attack are all excellent. When fed with high resolution audio, the Xperia sounds amazingly detailed yet smooth.

The screen produces sharp, detailed images with superb colour rendition, depth and contrast. There are no distracting movement-related image artefacts and I can view the screen for long periods of time without eye strain.

The Xperia's many other features are also good but for me, the audio and screen quality are simply exceptional.

Puhelin on huono. Se kuumenee, näytön kosketus ei toimi, salamaa ei voi käyttää kuvatessa. Puhelin hyytyy ja tämän saa käynnistää uudelleen monta kertaa viikossa. Olen niin pettynyt ostokseni.

Had this phone four weeks now and it just gets better lots of feachers

Bought as a replacement for my old Xperia 5, not noticeable larger. An improvement over the 5 which has been good phone

It's been over ten years since I last had a Sony mobile and to be honest I wasn't sure if I would ever return, for some reason their phones seem to get overlooked or given negative feedback year after year but I decided, after a disappointing few months with a highly recommended brand, to give this phone a try and do far, after several weeks, I am extremely happy that I did.

After a couple of hours of use it feels like I've never been away, the clear screen, the easy to use keyboard, the general feel of the phone, as well built as they have always been.

I'm not a photographer but the quality of the camera and all it's top specs actually makes me want learn more to get the full use of it's high quality DSLR like programme, could be a new hobby on the horizon - just because of this phone.

So, so far, so good, I absolutely love it. If you're like me, an old Sony mobile user who's kept away for daft reasons just get back on board, you won't be disappointed, and if you've never used a Sony, give it a go and I can promise you, you'll love it.

After many years in the wilderness using the other sides phones I felt I needed back into the fold. I had Sony phones for years and soon as I opened the Environmental friendly packaging and pick up the Xperia It just felt right.

I've been a Sony TV user for years but I needed a new phone so I thought I'd try the Xperia and I'm delighted with it
