Great picture poorly planned connectivityArvosana 3/5
the monitor looks great. although it arrived with a couple of very small dead spots in the screen that are only visible when the screen is off or the output is very dark under the spots. Aside from that issue the connectivity seems poorly planned, why even have a dp port? why not 3 hdmi ports? the USB hub is complete junk and does not consistently work, especially if you change the connection to a new pc or add a device to the USB chain.
Why doesnt the screen have just a monitor mode? Why can't it remember that its is hooked up to 2 pcs and that i dont want to watch tv or netflix on it, it would be great to be able to disable all of that and just have it switch back and forth between my 2 PCs with out maneuvering through menus with the remote.
So while it has a lot of features i think most people are going to use only 1 or 2 of those and it should be possible to configure it so all the other junk is disabled. So once you get the monitor powered on and select all the required options for the use case you are currently using it for then its a pretty great monitor. Just be prepared to spend the extra time messing with the variables before you can get stuff done.
