Päivitin aiemman ASUS RT-AC3200:n tähän ja tämä on pystynyt hoitamaan samat hommat AX-tuella ja lisäksi uusimman ohjelmistoversion mukana tuli myös VLAN tuki, kuten Pro lisänimeen lähes kuuluukin.

Kaikki toiminnot pelaa kuten pitääkin eikä ole ollut mitään mystisiä ongelmia. Yksi tärkeä toiminto itselle on OpenVPN joka tässä täyttää viimeisimmätkin OpenVPN:n turvallisuusvaatimukset, toisin kuin joissakin pienempinumeroisissa ASUSeissa.

Tyylikkään näköinen laite. Hyvä wifi- peitto koko kiinteistössä missä sitä tarvitaan.

Monipuolinen ja laadukas kokonaisuus. Jämäkkä rakenne.

Etätyökäytössä en voinut käyttää yhdistettyä 2,4ghz / 5ghz - toimintoa, ehkä työnantajan erittäin tiukkojen turvavaatimusten vuoksi. Jakaminen kahteen eri taajuuden verkkoon mahdollisti etätyön. 2kk käytön jälkeen ei moitittavaa.

The RT-AX86U Pro is a high quality product that met all my router needs, including family controls. Setting it up was straightforward and the operation is intuitive. It has improved my network and coverage is enhanced, although not complete, which necessitated a booster. The inclusion of network security, including a VPN, is very welcome and adds to its resilience against unauthorised access. Overall, very satisfied.

Käyttöönotto tosi nopea ja helppo. Kantama erittäin hyvä ja se nopeus 😀

Powerful router with great control apps for real time monitor and configuration.

Great router, i was having problems with Virgin Media Hub 3 coverage around a typical size house.

Im on 350mb broadband but was only achieving 10mb in the bedrooms and kitchen. This router solved all my problems.

The performance and coverage around all the house, including the garden, is 350mb - 380mb, with no dropouts.

Setting up was a bit tricky. The settings up of the router went well, but logging into the GUI web or mobile app was confusing.

However, after 2 hours, i managed to understand the ASUS user name and password that was required, basically what you set up at the start of the router setup.

I would have preferred a set of user instructions or at least a QR code or link to the online downloads. After googling the net, i managed to find these.

The router itself is modern looking, i particularly like the vertical standing position as it has a smaller footprint in the corner of the room. One improvement for me would be the red plastic at the bottom of the router being the same colour of the router black.

The GUI mobile app and web portal are very clear, well set out, and really informative. It has loads of functionality, which im currently working through trying to understand.

As a mid understanding of computers and networks, this router overall has been quite easy to set up.

When you register your router with Asus, you will notice the warranty period is 3 years. I can't remember seeing that published on the Amazon online sellers website, who was suggesting additional payments to extend the warranty to 2 or 3 years.

Overall a great modern router wifi 6, i would recommend to anyone using a standard ISP router.

Technically competent but feels like an "open beta" product. Some of the most basic UI functionalities such as displaying connected devices are very buggy, no user manual exists for this quite complex product. Might be time to pick an alternative vendor inn future.

Brilliant router. Have 2 asus ax86u routers Connected by AI mesh. Full WiFi round the house. WiFi 6 speeds same as ethernet.

Easy to set up, blazing fast speeds. Mind blowing.

An excellent upgrade over my AC88u - better performance and can actually get my full 980mb via the WAN port

Wi-Fi performance is vastly improved and even 5 devices perform a lot better - 6 devices are epically fast

Also runs as an AiMesh hub, nice to see that Asus have finally resolved all the bugs and niggles in setting all of this up, it was quick and painless - also guest network now properly function over all nodes
