Great screen; Diggerspoiled by software problems

I’ve owned this TV for more than two years, at 55 inches, the screen size is impressive and the colours really make an impact.

However, my bugbear is the occasional software blip which, while reasonably easily resolved, makes viewing less impressive because of the time taken in finding solutions.

    Always quality and long life

This Tv has an amazing picture and sound quality.

The Camera works great for zoom calls etc. But the hand gestures are a but of a hit and miss.

My only issue is the occasional dimming of the picture as the brightness changes on screen.

Not sure if this is a setting but have not been able to find a fix yet. Have had a number ofSony Tv.s they have graduates from main to kitchen and bed rooms. None smart Bravias now geta new lease of life with apple tv boxes.

    Best picture TV

Still getting to grips with this tv. Had an older calibrated tv and the picture was excellent. Bought the A95 and can't believe how much better this is. Immediately had it professionally calibrated and it as good a fully immersive picture as I have seen on a tv, including newer models (although not seen these in a home environment).

Would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a top tv

    Sony TV

We have had this TV for 2yrs now.

I personally feel let down by Curry’s for lack of knowledge by their ‘professional set up team’ who skipped past all options regarding sound and quality.

We experience lagging (like watching a dubbed movie).

Sony asked us to reset to factory settings but made no difference.

    Picture quality is fantastic.

Just the sound (lagging) lets it down for us.

Older, but still the best 77" TV out there

This is my first OLED TV, replacing a 13 year old Panasonic Viera plasma, and I have been stunned at the improvement in picture quality from what was a very good TV in its day. I use an Apple TV 4K as my source, run through an Anthem AVM90 processor to the A95L, and it integrates perfectly. All the positives of OLED and the Bravia XR Processor are very evident, from the picture clarity, colour/tone "realism", to the deep blacks, to the quality of upscaling, etc. Compared to other high-end OLEDs (S95F, G5) the picture and colour/tone really is more realistic / less saturated.

I wanted a 77" screen, and so spent a long time debating whether to buy the A95L (arguably an older model) or a more recent TV from other brands. The feature that the reviews keep coming back to is that newer TVs have higher picture brightness, "peak nits", etc, but all I can say is that the A95L is as bright as I would want. Watching documentaries such as Our Planet on Netflix in Dolby Vision, I have found myself squinting when bright sunlight is coming into the camera ! A friend has the Bravia 8ii OLED and while I obviously haven't done a side-by-side comparison, I can't see any improvement on the A95L in normal viewing. The A95L might be an "older model" these days, but if you are looking for a 77" OLED I would strongly recommend that you buy it: all the reasons why everyone raved about it in 2023/24 are still there, and the fact it doesn't have the peak brightness of modern OLEDs or RGB LED is in my view irrelevant.

    No regrets

I've been using this TV for over a year now since my old one died. The quality of the image is excpetional: it's like looking through a window at times and the dimensionality of the picture is superb. I use it mainly for movies and TV, but it's great for games as well. The apps options are suberb and additonal devices run seamlessly through it too. The 65" aspect also makes it very cinematic without the need to sit too close.

    First Class Cinematic experience.

I have spent a year researching OLED TV, and the A95l in particular. If like me you love Sony True to real live colours and tones. You cannot get better than the A95l. Pairs easily with Sony AVR, has great usable features. High quality finish. Upscaling SDR content to 4K is great. But where it shines is when playing high quality Dolby Vision content. Highly recommend the A95L

Great picture! Lots of annoying features!

Great TV. Can't seem to get the screensaver to activate automatically... Probably operator error but if not then not ideal. Camera is ugly and annoying so don't use. Tried hand gestures etc... pointless. TV feet/stands are inconveniently located. I had to purchase an alternative stand due to being on a small TV in a corner. Ultimately upgraded to a wall mount. TV itself is good but if I'm honest, I prefer the LG OLED I've had for a couple of years.
