It also has a function of a hand held steamer but I’ve not used that yet very useful though and something my husband can do without having to ask me! Philips is a good brand you can rely on. Glad I’ve got this I think will last me years

It glides smoothly over all types of fabric and the heat settings are clear and easy to adjust with a dial. The weight of the iron is just right, heavy enough to be effective but not so much so that it’s uncomfortable to iron a large load. In terms of appearance, it also looks very sleek and modern. Overall I have been very happy with how it performs, despite not being a natural when it comes to ironing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips steam iron looks good and ironed really well, it glided smoothly over all my clothes, thanks to the SteamGlide Plus sole plate with enhanced scratch resistance.

It has a large 300 ml water tank, that was really easy to fill from my kitchen tap, which lasted throughout my ironing pile and did not drip out at all.

The dial is large and easy to use, has a setting for extra steam boost if you need it or no steam. I particularly loved being able to steam fabrics upright rather than using an ironing board, I steamed my curtains which now look lovely and smooth and crease free.

It got to temperature quickly and removed all creases. This is average weight for a steam iron and the cord was a good length.

The iron has a Quick Calc Release feature for easy cleaning of the iron and to help give it a long lasting steam performance.

I'm impressed with the iron apart from one thing, the handle, when I hold it it seems to make a noise as if it's not fitted together properly, this may go in time after several uses though.

Is little more than other normal irons but does an amazing job. Has many functions and works amazing and in no time i managed to iron many clothes and shirts. I like the blue colour and I find it easy even to take it with me while travelling because of the small size.

There are several functions, but I always use it on the lowest setting. The steam function is great and it doesn't leak water.

It comes with a big water tank and the calc clean function is brilliant so hoping it lasts alot longer then my old one. Also you can steam your clothes and curtains in a upright position so it doubles up as a garment steamer. Overall I'm so happy with my iron and I highly recommend.

This iron has taken me by surprise. It’s easy to use, not too heavy and I love the design. Not to mention the fact that my clothes are crease free in no time at all. Even my husband jumped in to do a few items!! It’s a yes from me!!
