I found this monitor couldn't reach 165Hz refresh rate with my MBP M1 14'' 2021. I used an USBC to DP adaptor. Under 1080P it can reach 120Hz and 2160P there's only 60Hz. I can make it 165Hz under 1080P but the screen looks really blur.
Meanwhile the other monitor "Samsung Odyssey G3 27" I bought can reach 165Hz under 1080P with exactly the same configuration.
And one difference is this G7 support "variable refresh rate(48-120Hz)", while the G3 only support fixed refresh rate number.
