Philips 55PUS8007 55" 4K LED -televisio

A great value for the price, ambilight is amazing, hdr looks good, everything works fine except some very minor delays sometimes. Other reviews say that it locks up, maybe it got fixed meanwhile with software updates. Android tv is great, better than any other tv os in my opinion.

Not much to complain about, really: the TV works, the picture quality is reasonably good (maybe even very good for the price), it has Android TV, which means you can install all kinds of apps on it (even via sideloading, if necessary). The processor/gpu are fast enough to stream any video, even in 4K HDR. Changing channels could be a bit quicker, but still OK. Ambilight is a nice extra, but it is mostly useful to provide a smooth backlight to the TV against the wall; it doesn't look nearly as sensational as in the videos that Philips like to push out for advertising, but it is an improvement over the simple light I normally place behind the TV for the same purpose, so yes, definitely a plus, but nothing I would pay a lot extra for. This model was on sale here, so if it is on sale again definitely, buy this one!

Picture quality and sound is really great. The built in features are so good we have since cancelled our TV package and just use the built in apps. Ambilight really enhances the experience and it it very user friendly

There is no remote control suitable to this model 43pus8007/12. There is no option of google speaker. There is no shortcut to turn off the tv .

I was considering purchasing a new TV as my old one was over 5 years old. There were so many on the market that were essentially very similar, but what made this stand out to me was ambilight.

Initially, I thought this was a bit of a gimmick, but after some research I decided to give it a go. I have not regretted my decision. Not only is this a fully featured Android Smart TV, but the added feature of ambilight is amazing. The additional immersion that this system provides is incredible. It seems to extend the image across a wider area than the TV alone, even though there is obviously no detail to the ambilight projection, it just works. I can highly recommend.

Good tv with God picture and good sound. I know a lot of people complain about the sound of this, and pretty much every modern, flat screen tv, but fir me the sound is good

Ambilight makes it, and i usually watch in a darkened room. Action IS action. Chiller/horror get a lot more chilled/horrific

Connected to my virgin box it does suffer with the sound and picture falling out of sync ever so often and no matter what settings I try it still happens. Otherwise this would be a 5 star but still brilliant tv.

I was unsure about purchasing a Philips TV as I have only owned Samsung products. I bought this TV specifically for the Ambilight feature. It does make a huge difference when watching films and the Ambilight colours are brilliant, almost feels like being at the cinema. However, I’ve had the TV for 4 months and now starting to find faults. There is a long delay between the remote and the TV. When pressing the Ambilight button it doesn’t always come up and choosing apps/channels doesn’t always work, which is frustrating. No matter how long I wait or what buttons I press it doesn't work. The TV has to be switched off at the main at least once a day to resolve the issues which is extremely annoying. I wouldn't recommend this product.
