Take it as given that these labels are durable and clear. And there are options to print on clear and black and olther colours. Being able to layout a label on a Mac/PC is a key advantage if you want to include logos and fonts that match the destination. The key to saving tape is 'chain printing' a whole session of labels followed by a final cut. I can't use the mobile or standalone printer and get the layout i want as well as on the desktop.

Whilst it is large an bulky - surprisingly so with the carry case, it makes large obvious labels very quickly and easily...we even had team members in the office fighting over using it as it is quite fun if you are geeky like us!

Not experienced any issues beyond the size, but if you have space for it then no issues at all.

First thing i noticed when this was delivered, was how big the package was. This comes in a fair sized plastic carry case, when opened the actual labeller is a good size and the case has space for the charger and extra label cassettes. Carry case could have been a bit smaller, but it is nice to have to keep all in one place.

The machine itself comes with a power adaptor and also has space for 6xAA batteries to make it portable, to make it even better would have been great to have a built in rechargeable battery as when labelling it makes life a bit easier to have it fully portable. But i do like the fact that i can add in AA batteries!

The machine can be used as a standalone device using the keyboard and built in screen etc. which will do the job for most labelling needs, the real magic happens when you connect it to a smartphone though. Connecting the device to my android phone was seamless and opened up a new world of possibilities.

I have since been able to use the labels for organising my 8 month olds clothes, as he grows i have been able to label the clothes i have packed away which will be useful when i have to get them back out again! Have also been able to use it for organising our filing and paperwork.

There is pretty much an endless ability with this machine and i am looking forward to using it more and more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am just amazed on how this label printer works and it's capabilities. I have moved recently and used it to get organised both at home and with my work/office stuff.

I love that it came with a large (24mm) sample label, was handy when packing to label my boxes but i also purchased some small ones for organising and I love how versatile it is and easy to use. I used the app to design some aesthetic labels for my kitchen and it was so easy to download, set up and use. My only concern is that there is some wastage with the labels as they cut off a bit too long and I am not the biggest fan of the packaging and the box it comes with. looks like a large tool box and not easy to store discreetly.

Besides those points, great label printer, great quality, and would very much recommend it to anyone whose looking for something versatile and easy to use.

I recently went abroad and had some travel bottles to label and this machine came in so handy. The labels are water resistant and stick really well to the bottles.

I really like the option to change fonts, sizes and also decorate the labels.

This printer is going to come in very handy when it comes to planning my wedding also.

Only thing I wish was different, was to be sent a few different label sizes to test what works best. But I cannot fault the label printer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's larger than I expected. I thought it would be a little bigger than the average smart phone, and worried it would make it fiddly to use. But I would say it is the perfect size: small enough to be portable but big enough to be functional. I also wasn't expecting it to come with a case, which was a nice surprise.

Initially, looking at the supplied instructions, I didn't think they were detailed enough. However, once I turned the machine on, I could see why. It's so intuitive and easy to use that detailed instructions would be unnecessary. The majority of the buttons are obvious and the rest you can either quickly figure out, or look at the instructions. After switching it on, I would say it took about 30 seconds to create and print out a test label. If that.

The printing itself is so quick, a single label takes roughly 1 second to print, and even changing the tapes is straightforward.

I like that you can use the machine itself, your phone or computer to create labels. Personally, I like using the maker to create and print different, one-off labels. But I found using my PC great for a larger range of label styles, being able to arrange text and elements more precisely, and printing multiple labels of the same style with different text.

I have one criticism, though it's too small to affect my rating, and it's that the printer cuts off a piece of label tape before printing each label. I get that it's in case there's a problem with the end of the tape but it seems a little wasteful.

The Brother D610BTVP is a truly excellent label printer that lives to Brothers solid reputation for high quality label printers worthy of a place in any home or office.

As many others have said, the first impression that you get of this Printer is the size of the box, it’s massive! Thankfully upon unboxing the printer itself is perfectly sized but the storage box gives you plenty of space to store the power adapter and any spare or different sized tapes.

The Brother D610BTVP Label Printer can be used in two ways, either directly on the printer itself using the intuitive inbuilt keyboard or the app on either iOS or Android. I’ve used both and definitely prefer the app as I personally find it easier to select and fill in templates but you certainly wouldn’t be disadvantaged if you never connected the printer to an external device.

I’ve used it all over the house so far, it is perfect for labelling everything from storage boxes to tiny cables, the ease of use makes rapidly organising your home and workspace almost addictive. One feature I did particularly like was the ability to print a QR code with your WiFi networks details, this was perfect for sticking in my guest room and is much easier than trying to spell out passwords to my parents and in-laws.

Overall this is an incredibly impressive printer that deserves a place on your desk, it has an incredibly low barrier to entry and a very gentle learning curve, anyone could pick this device up and rapidly start using it to organise their life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What can I say, when I heard about the opportunity to try it out I got a tad excited, I’ve been looking to replace my little handheld printer for a few months now but never actually bit the bullet.

I’ve always liked my mini one because of how quick it prints so was dubious of how this would perform, however after taking it out the box and downloading the app it was apparent that I should have got one sooner… build quality is tiptop, usability is a dream and printing speed is insane.

I had set it up and got my camera ready, loaded the app and got ready to print; set the camera to record and bang… 2 seconds in it was printed.

Anyone looking to buy a label printer, for the price I’d recommend this one all day long!
