After several years using the Sony A7III, I decided to upgrade to the Sony A7IV, and the change is clearly noticeable. The first thing you feel is the ergonomics: the grip is more comfortable, the buttons are better placed, and the camera feels more modern and well-designed for long shooting sessions.

The autofocus is a big step forward—faster, more accurate, and with much better tracking, especially for faces and eyes. In photography it feels more reliable, and in video it makes a clear difference.

Image quality keeps Sony’s signature look, but with improved color, better dynamic range, and more flexible files for editing.

Overall, the A7IV is not just an update—it’s a more complete, smoother, and more comfortable camera to use.

If you’re coming from the A7III, the upgrade is worth it, especially if you shoot both photos and video.

I bought this product about a month ago and has completely changed my photography, i’m enjoying it so much more knowing my camera is fully flexible with certain things. Also my personal favourite is the auto tracking i think it’s amazing and hasn’t let me down on shots the focus is always where i need it. Overall i love this camera and definitely recommend to others.

so happy with my new toy, happy, expect one thing if they provide charger for battery or correct adapter for charging that will be helpful .

A super camera works great with my 2times converter and my 70-200mm F4 macro lens

A really good camera. The new Menu System takes a bit of getting used to, but is better than the A7iii.

The updates to the camera software work well, especially the Focus Bracketting, however if it had some more techical guidance on step values it would be even better. I would have liked to have had sensor shift or pixel shift, perhaps this might come in a later software upgrade. Auto Focus better than my previous Sony cameras, fast and accurate when you get the right Focus Area set.

Bought this as my first proper camera for photo and video work for a media business. Very easy to produce high quality media, is very easy to transfer media to phone, I would just like more information/explanations in the menu system for various settings to be able to understand when might be best to use them.

I'm super happy with my new full-frame camera. I'm still learning how to use it properly because there are many new features. Video performance is excellent. The quality of my pictures with my 24-70mm are amazing. I'm still learning about the focus, but overall, I'm happy.

It was so easy to set up and learn, as someone who has never used a mirrorless or DSLR before. Have already taken amazing shots and video.Paired with a 24-70mm F2.8 lens, this is going to be a great and long journey of learning and discovery.

This is my 2nd A7iv body after using the 1st one for 3 years. I have found this is one of the best camera for my video work. I do many wedding and fashion videos and photography. Mt Photography gear is Canon R5C

Much more of an upgrade than i thought. Love the new menu system and touch screen, also the improved mega pixels. The grip being slightly bigger is bonus for my chunky fingers. Over all the camera is very easy to navigate, customising the buttons for personalisation of fav settings is also simple with plenty of options. The AI feature for humans, animals etc is a great feature.

Coming back to photography and already having used APS-c and Micro 4/3 I wanted to get a full frame mirrorless camera and the Sony A7iv ticked all the boxes. I compared the reviews of this with other similar cameras by other manufacturers via independent reviews and YouTube and the Sony A7iv seemed to get better reviews than others. So I took the plunge and I have to say that I’m VERY impressed so far - only10 days so far- with it. There are so any items in the menu that you can change but with the basic set up so far the images that I have taken have been incredibly detailed. It’s going to be a learning curve but I’m looking forward to all that it can offer.
