I bought this card as an “afterthought”. I had bought a new Dark Hero motherboard (review just submitted on that) and was going to “get by” with my previous Asus Strix 989GTX, which despite being 8 years old, was more than capable for the gaming I wanted to do - but discounts on Black Friday were too tempting!!

Having read various reviews, I decided that the 4070Ti was the “sweet spot” for me - good performance that will see me through for the next few years of my level of occasional gaming. A 4080 or 4090 was insanely expensive and not justifiable for an “occasional” gamer. I was more than happy with my previous Asus Strix card which at the time of purchase was the top of pile in terms of cards available - so another Asus Strix was a no brainer for me.

Performance-wise, I don’t really have anything to complain about after seeing what the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is capable of. It might not have the 24GB VRAM like the RTX 3090 but if you don’t really need that amount of VRAM and just want a powerful graphics card that can drive most of your gaming needs, the RTX 4070 Ti.

Future proof and simply amazing for 1440p. This runs together with I7 and 64 gb Ddr5 6000 mhrz on a strix motherboard. Plays all the games with ease at high frame rates. Super quite . Perfect for multi tasking . Coming from alienware this is a step up. Asus rog strix is just the best you can buy .
