I love this camera so much

Lovely camera. Used it properly whilst in the Cairngorms, fantastic performance. Cashback promotion went smoothly also. Great communication from Canon and very helpful.

The Canon EOS R8 continues to be seen as a strong all-rounder for both photo and video enthusiasts, especially given its price and portability. It’s often recommended as one of the best entry-level full-frame mirrorless bodies — great for beginners and hobbyists, and still capable enough for serious hybrid shooters.

An absolutely incredible camera and a significant upgrade from the R10. Couldn't be happier with my purchase and it was the same if not cheaper in price as used with the recent promotion. Incredible value and I couldn't be happier!

Upgrade from the 7D. Quite a leap but the MkIII was a bit too far for me.

However, this is a superb bit of kit and so far my favourite shooting, wildlife, has really paid off. The Canon adapter with my EF100-400 zoom is just perfect.

I didn't realise but the EF-S I have lenses still crop but will be replacing them eventually with R lens. But the results are still excellent and EF-S fit fine with the adaptor.

I was worried about the lack of mini screen the 7D had on the top but this is just fin with the Mk6II. The menu I can have all I want to hand or a button press away.

Usually I set up the camera then fold away the screen to protect it as I can still access functions to fine tune in the view finder.

Combination of lens stabilisation and camera stabilisation, I am getting better results but have to remember there is over a decade in tech difference for my norm.

Still learning but this is lighter, smaller and easy to come up from the 7D.

Tarkennusominaisuudet, vakautus, ISO:n noston sieto, monet luovan kuvauksen mahdollistavat ominaisuudet ja kustomointimahdollisuudet tekevät tästä loistotyökalun monenlaiseen kuvaamiseen. Entiselle Canon-kuvaajalle loivahko oppimiskäyrä säätimien ja ominaisuuksien hallitsemiseen. EF objektiivit toimivat moitteetta adapterilla. Suosittelen lisäakkujen hankkimista pidempien kuvaussessioiden takaamiseksi. IBIS hieman kolisee virran ollessa poissa, mutta kuuluu ilmeisesti asiaan. Lämmin suositus edistyneimmille kuvaajille.

Päivitin yli 7v vanhan Canon 80deen tähän. Idea oli että kasikymppinen jää kakkoseksi... noh R6mk2 on niin paljon edellä että 80D tuntuu enemmän kuin 7v vanhalta.

R6mk2 kaverina minulla on RF 24-105 F4 ja RF 100-500 sekä F1.8 50mm. Jotain laajan pään linssiä vielä kaipailee, mutta edellämainuitulla combolla kuvailee kivasti päivä- ja ilta-aikaan. Yökuvaukseen sitten omat linssinsä. Vaikkakin R6mk2 kohina on ihan kohtuullista ja Lightroomin uusi tekoäly kohinanpoisto työkalu tekee TAIKOJA!

Kaiken kaikkiaan erittäin tyytyväinen kameraan ja sen tarkennusnopeuteen. Äänettömyys on luontokuvaajalle suuri plussa. Hiukan mietitytti onko ylänäytön puute häiritsevä. Ei ole ollut. Jokainen tietysti arvottaa omassa käytössään eri ominaisuuksia.

Nagtiivinen huomioni koskee uutta RF linssikiinnitystä joka on huomattavasti hankalampi käyttää "sokkona" kuin EF. Tämä ei kuitenkaan ole niin merkittävä ongelma että se vaikuttaisi suosittelu päätökseeni.

Voin suositella kameraa alotteleville kuvaajille, jotka tietävät että harrastus pysyy elämässä mukana monia vuosia - ellei lopun elämää. Näin ollen oppiessasi lisää runko tarjoaa lisää mahdollisuuksia. R6mk2 ei kuitenkaan ole halvimmasta päästä, mutta mielestäni kannattava sijoitus.

Ammattikuvaajille hyvä kakkosrunko (tai miksi ei ykkös), jos 24MP ei haittaa.

I decided to go mirror less full frame with the latest version of the R6 and haven't regretted it....love the features and ease of use, responsive focus with my EF lenses and compatible with my EF-S lenses as well when using the RF adapter..... Brilliant piece of kit.

Harrastekuvailuun vähän liiankin hyvä. Kuvanvakaaja kolisee kylläkin inhottavasti kun virrat on pois päältä.

I bought this thanks to the cashback offer over Christmas which allowed me to splurge on going mirrorless for the first time. Happy with many of the photos I have taken with my 7D mkii, and will still use it thanks to the crop factor but for wildlife, especially birds in flight, a world of difference in terms of keepers. Focus can still be spoilt by blades of grass etc but still been worth the expense. The feature were it takes some video before a still is great for holiday pics as it brings it actually to life for people your 'forcing' to watch your travels. 40fps not really used as yet in a proper scenario, no doubt when a kingfisher returns it will be, years of frustration with that one. Video has been good, not a feature I have used much in the past, so a learning curve to conquer. Two cards is useful, one for pics other for video, so by the end of the summer I hope to have most things fine tuned.... Great camera but still like an optical viewfinder as it doesn't drain the batteries.

I already had 2 Canon R6 cameras, more than happy with those, but kept reading glowing reports of the MkII, so traded one in for the updated model. At first I found the moving of power switch confusing when using both cameras at the same time ( I cover sports events and use 2 bodies with different lenses attached). The MKII had more features and more variations in the menus, these took a little getting used to and I kept going back to the familiar MKI for shooting. Now I'm getting my head around the MKII, the benefits over the MKI are more apparent and I feel more confident using it for paid work. When paired with a RF70-200 f2.8 lens, the results are amazing and is now my favourite combo. Still not sure why Canon would include the special effects options in the menu, on what is a professional camera, reminds of entry level point and shoot cameras.

Toimii muuten kuten pitääkin, mutta välillä virran päälle laiton jälkeen menee useampi sekunti ennen kuin kameralla voi ottaa kuvia, kamera ei meinaa siis herätä henkiin. Joitakin kuvia on jäänyt tämän takia ottamatta.

I bought this camera 5 months ago as an upgrade to the Eos R After watching numerous YouTube videos and reading owner's reviews. I'm so glad that I did as it's better in every way and image's are excellent.

I have had this camera 4 months after using a 7D MkII and it is just fantastic.

As a Wildlife photographer I decided to go mirrorless to save weight. I had previously the Canon5Dmk4 which I loved combined with the canon ef 200-400mm f/4l is usm extender 1.4x, I had some great shots with this combination but the weight factor was a major issue and to go on a shoot and not use a tripod was becoming a major issue. So weight was my driving factor to change. I now have the r6 Mk2 with the Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS USM Lens. This combination has been great and knowing I can get good handheld sharp shots of fast moving targets such as the kingfisher in a dive has been superb. The tracking, eye detection and identifying highlight exposure has been beneficial, and saving lost of post processing knowing I've got it right in camera.

I bought this camera to replace my 5Dmk4 and it’s performing better than I expected. The auto focus and eye tracking is witchcraft. One thing I wish Canon would do is make a high quality photo camera for people like me who have no interest whatsoever in video yet end up paying for technology that is never going to be used.

Last year I developed a real taste for photographing live music, shooting shows on a 6dm2 and a d-lux7. But the turning point of me earning my place in the pit at the big shows was me getting my all round perfect pit set up. The r6m2 paired with the rf 24-70 2.8f. This perfect combination first used in the upstairs of the blue last, London, reignited my love for photography and has joined me at many iconic London venues and taken me all the way up to the stage at the utilita Birmingham arena shooting busted on their uk arena tour. The fast shutter speed and 2 sd card slots and the subject focusing/tracking this camera possesses allows me to never miss “the shot” by taking untold amounts of burst shots that take during performances. The rotating screen is perfect for me to shoot from new perspectives or amongst a crowd where I must hold the camera high above my head and point towards the stage. The touch screen allows me to quickly pick new focus points though I find I tend to use the mini joystick for its ease to use with the one hand holding the camera using my thumb. Being able to connect the camera to my iPad using the WiFi function also allows me to take studio shots and show the photos being taken to clients in real time with ease. My next plan is to buy a second r6m2 paired with the rf 70-200 2.8f so I can easily switch between the two during shows knowing that I have a beast of a camera on both sides to capture the best shot of every moment.

I upgraded from my R6 because I shoot video and I wanted the extended roll time of the R6ii. I didn't think that going from 20MP to 24MP would be noticeable but my photos seem to "pop" more. Not a technical term but that's the best way I can describe the improvement I am seeing.

Kaikkea on mitä pitikin ja varmasti vähän päälle. Canon sovelluksella voi räpsiä kuvia etänä ja kuvien katsominen kännykästä on kätevää. Kameralla voi jopa laittaa kaksi kuvaa päällekkäin jos haluaa.(ottaa kuvan jo otetun päälle)
