These itx boards are so small once an air cooler is on top! Great board layout without any dongles etc - only issue I had was the usb front port headers being really close to the air cooler and ended up buying a 90 degree header for one of the ports as the wire didn't want to bend. It would've been great if they included a thermal probe to go along with the header provided. I had to get one seperately but there was no info in the manual on what would be appropriate.

It is my 3rd Asus B650e-i gaming motherboard (yes, I have 3 PCs in my household :)). This motherboard represents the best blend of features, performance and price in my opinion. The improvements I would want to see in the next iteration are: 12 stages (90A) instead of 10 (70A), I would swap Mediatek WiFi chip for a better alternative, also an extra 4pin fan connector and backplate shield would be a most welcome additions.

Great ITX motherboard with plenty of features packed into it. With PCI Gen 5, I’ll be set for the future. Plenty of IO options

Good product missing a back plate I'm using it in an sff build, space for cables is limited so bit of protection and heat dissipation would have been nice for the price.

Ongelmaa laadun kanssa…

Kun avaatte, ottakaa kuvat, CPU socketissa vikaa. Ensimmäinen ostamani (Jimms) emolevyn toinen muistisocket ei toiminu ja viaksi todettiin CPU socketin vääntyneet ja yksi poikki ollut pinni.

En ottanut todisteita joten jouduin nielemään tappioni ja ostamaan toisen.

Toinen heti avatessa ja tarkistaessa sisälsi yhhden mahdollisesti viallisen pinnin! Nyt joudun odottamaan takuuhuoltoa 3-4 viikkoa ”fyysisen vaurion” takia ilman mitään muuta vaihtoehtoa ja asiakaspalvelusta jäi tunne että joudun tappelemaan sen kanssa etten ollut ehtinyt suorittaa mitään asennuksia ettei vika voi johtua minusta.

Ehkä nämä pitää avata asianajajan ja todistajan kanssa..

So far the ROG STRIX B650E-I has worked brilliantly for me, no issues.

I kept returning to this motherboard while researching my first SFF (Small Form Factor) gaming PC. I’m pleased to say it’s worked out well. Installation was easy, and with the help of some online guides and the manual, everything worked straight away. My only critical comment is about the instructions for the main NVME slot. I followed along with the instructions for an M.2 2280 card, and it was written that installing a rubber riser was optional. So I didn’t bother. After installing it, I could see the M.2 card bending uncomfortably. Looking online, this appeared to be common. So, I installed the rubber riser, and this reduced the bend quite a bit. As such, I would say it’s mandatory, not optional. Otherwise, a great MOBO and I’m very happy with it.

As part of a first time build of a small gaming PC bought a ROG STRIX B650E-I Gaming motherboard. Very pleased I did as it is a very sturdy and well made bit of kit. The installation went very well and my new gaming PC is up and running like a dream.

Beautiful little motherboard - bought for my NZXT H1V2 - so easy to install and very future-proof with PCI gen 5 compatibility. Worked straight away after a quick BIOS update. The CPU runs cool. Got it at a quite competitive price.
