Perfect for everyday activity
I recently made the switch to the Shokz OpenRun after using the JBL Tune Flex and occasionally the Marshall Minor III. While both served me well, I started wanting something that would let me stay aware of my surroundings, especially during walks, biking, or even just being out and about in the city. After eyeing the OpenRun for a while—and battling a bit of hesitation—I finally decided to go for it at 139€, and I’m glad I did.
First impressions:
The design is sleek and lightweight. I was surprised how comfortable they felt, even after wearing them for hours. No pressure in the ears, no worrying about ear tips falling out or getting sweaty—it’s just a clean, open fit that works.
Sound quality:
Let’s be real: it won’t compete with in-ear headphones in terms of bass and depth, but for open-ear bone conduction tech, it’s impressive. Mids and highs are clear, and while you lose that deep bass punch, the trade-off is worth it for the awareness and comfort.
