Well designed and with plenty of features

Has been a bit expensive and had to wait until price came into my budget range.

Hence only 4 *.

Otherwise should be ok when I install it …

Will definitely be purchasing for here again great service and great products.

Brilliant board every good quality and looks awesome

Very good latest Prime Z790-A motherboard which replaced my previous ASUS p8z77-v Deluxe.

Fitted with an I5 13600K, 32GB DDR5, Samsung 1TB 990 SSD and a Seasonic G12-GM-650 80PLUS Gold PSU. Win11 installation was OK except that I had to manually install the LAN driver (using 'Shift-F10) during the installation to access the internet to complete the Win11 install. However, using Armoury Crate post Win11 installation was an added bonus as it automatically installed all of my drivers updates once I had selected them. Currently only using the integrated graphics while I look around for a graphics card... Very impressed with the MB style & design, it's very fast especially the integrated Wifi which is connected up at 650Mbps (tx & rx) to my router on the ground floor - I'm 2 floors up. Highly recommended but I haven't really stressed it yet...

Whilst I have given 4 stars I do have an issue with Wdf01000.sys causing massive audio latency issues and no one seems to know why.

i9 12900K CPU. Win 11.

Very high quality motherboard and manufactured to the same standard. I continue to be impressed with the features and easy setup. The Asus software for controlling fan speed and processor is first class. Wonderful package.

For the second of my recent builds (to be my main PC) I selected a more recent motherboard knowing from years of past experience Asus boards are of high quality and provide a range of new features. As with the other Prime Z690-P build I selected an Intel based board. This build includes an Intel 13th Gen Core i9 processor. Whilst I am not a gamer I needed what will become my main PC to be considered fast and compatible for a number of years ahead and of course be able to run Windows 11 with ease. At this stage it is fitted with a Scythe Mugen 5 cooler. I have yet to try water cooling but this machine should never be subject to the high stress and the need for that, but its early days following the build. The only slight problem I experienced which, I believe is a software problem, is with the ethernet adapter. Most of the time ethernet works fine but occasionally the adapter vanishes in Windows Device Manager. However the WiFi solution is consistently available and as I use a WiFi 6 mesh router with 3 nodes the WiFi is truly excellent and even faster at connecting than my ethernet system. The build went easily having matched the components suggested in the Asus compatibility list, this time I used Kingston Fury memory which could make use of Aura Sync RGB along with the fans in a white Lian Li Lancool 216 case. I am very pleased with the build which expect will work consistently for years to come. I love using Asus motherboards which whilst being Hi spec they are also true Works of Art in an glass panel case.

I'm extremely happy with this motherboard, had no problems with install, my ram runs perfectly at 5600, resizable bar was already enabled, bios is very simple to use, plenty headers for ARGB lights, I have AIO cooler with 3 fans and another 4 fans on my case and all in synce with ARGB,

I have not done any overclocking, only set the performance to extreme in the bios and no problems,

I run this with a i7 13700, rtx 3080, 32gb vengeance ram and I can achieve over 100fps on star citizen at new Babbage,

Good quality board looks amazing cannot connect Wi-Fi off the bat you need to install or up date drivers first hard wire no probs
