I bought the EOS R1o about a month ago as part of a bundle with 18-45 and 55-210 lenses. I am not a professional photographer, but do have an interest in photography, particularly travel and landscape photography. I have had Canon DSLRs in the past but recently started to use my i-phone. Realising the limitations of the i-phone I decided to invest in a new mirrorless camera and I thought the Canon the best choice for what I wanted. I have to say my initial impressions are disappointing. First of all the camera does not come with a manual. I know in this modern age more and more information is on line and there is a manual on the canon website, but this is not particularly user friendly and you have to know what to look for before you can access the information, which defeats the object. I therefore bought a book on how to use the camera, but did not find this particularly useful either. I therefore referred to Youtube and found a number of useful videos. Having set my camera to the settings that I thought would be useful I thought that I was all set for my trip to Italy. This was not to be the case. I don't know how I did it, but on a couple of occasions the camera set to delayed time and I therefore missed a couple of interesting shots as a result. It took me some time to get my camera back to the required now shot setting. I also find that the Auto Focus setting does not seem to work when I want to take close ups and have to go to manual focus. When i returned home I also found that a lot of interior shots, had a very orange hue to them, which I had to adjust on my photo software. (I take a lot of church interiors). I took almost 1,000 photographs of my Italian holiday and to be honest am a little disappointed with the results. My wife's photographs taken with her Apple 11 phone are often of better quality. I think that it will be back to the drawing board and Youtube, to see where I am going wrong.

Great up to now but will be using it extensively on holiday in 2 weeks on holiday to Malta & Gozo.

The Canon R10 is my first proper camera, after years of point-and-shoot.

The quality of pictures is fantastic, with so many different options to change/improve to outcome. It's been a bit of a learning curve to take on new terminology, but nothing a good book and a few Youtube videos didn't solve.

Bought the 18-45 kit lens with the camera, and absolutely no complaint about it, though the more I read the more my mind is wandering to adding another lens.

No hesitation recommending this camera to anyone.

I have watched that many youtube videos about My new Canon Eos R10 that are very useful, I am still learning, it takes very good photos and videos so far and I have only had it a month.

I haven't had the chance to really try the Canon R10 out yet. already I am really pleased with the camera. I have been a Canon fan for over 20 years + having been with Nikon. This camera is easy to use and is similar to the Canon 100 which I had. The R10 takes great photos - this camera isn't stripped down too much and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as it is a good basic Camera while leaving the important things on the Camera which are needed - after reading numerous reports on the Media

Auto focus is brilliant image quality is very detailed getting a rf 600 lens so watch this space

Det är min första spegel lösa kamera och jag är otroligt glad att jag valde Canon eos R 10, för en lättare och smidigare kamera går inte att hitta. Med tydliga instruktioner för bästa möjliga bild beroende på objekt gör fotograferingen till ett rent nöje samtidigt som man har möjlighet att experimentera med sina bilder i avsnitten kreativa val.

I chose the R10 because it had more flexibility and features than the R50. It also has a more comfortable grip and you can choose bundle it with the 18-150mm super zoom lens at a discount. Though the R7 has more pixels, is weatherproof and has IBIS, it is quite a bit heavier and costly.

Hinta-laatusuhteeltaan hyvä parannus vanhaan kalustooni. Nopea kroppirunko. Objektiivina tämä varmaan jää pienelle käytölle.

It’s an amazing camera for beginners, would definitely recommend when thinking to start photography.

Frustrated by its default to manual focus which took me a while to resolve first time I used it I took 1470 pictures in an hour and a half every shot perfectly focused and photographs on the invicta east Kent ac website awesome

I’ve always used canon slr’s but for a while I switched to a bridge camera for convenience, now I’m happy I’ve gone to mirrorless for much better quality.

This is the first time I have bought a mirror less camera. I have owned Canon cameras before and I found them very easy to use with great picture quality. The R10 is much lighter and also very easy to use. I like to take photos of different subjects - scenery, animals, sports, buildings, etc. The R10 gives me great picture quality in all cases.

I bought this as I had another make of camera and really missed a Canon which I had before.

I went to a local camera shop to ask about what would be the best camera for me as I have small hands.

Initially it was going to be the R50 but they were out of stock.

They had the R10 in stock.

As soon as I picked it up I knew it was the right one for me.

It is so easy to use and light.

Bought this to replace a EOS 800D/T7i and I am so pleased with it! The selling point for me was it takes up to 35 pictures a second, uses the same batteries as the 800D/T7i. With the RF to EF adapter I can still use my current lenses untill I can treat myself to a couple of RF lenses.

My only critique so far is the auto-focus occasionally seems to get "confused"

A very good camera it’s my sixth canon camera always good, but sometimes less is more.

I have had this camera for about a month and still getting to know the multitude of features the camera has to offer, the autofocus is amazing, picture quality fantastic, the camera is small and lightweight and fits perfectly in my hand.

I bought the camera with the RF-S 18-150 IS STM lens which is a great all rounder and perfect for my needs. I am very happy with my purchase.

Kamera on nyt ollut käytössä vajaan kuukauden ja en keksi mitään moittimista. Koko on miellyttävä, paino on sopiva (ei liian kevyt, joka haittaisi vakautta, eikä myöskään liian painava).

Tällä on nyt tultu kuvattua kaikenlaista paikallaan olevista kohteista nopeasti liikkuviin kohteisiin ja kaiken kuvaus on tähän mennessä onnistunut. Ainoa huono puoli on, että kameraa ei ole suojattu säältä, joten sateessa kuvaamista tulee välttää)

Very happy with my choice of camera for a beginner. Enjoying experimenting with the various options / facilities available. Lots to learn, but very pleased with the quality of the pictures taken so far.

I bought this last month to replace my EOS100D and I feel that I have something that will help me improve my photography. Light so I can easily take it everywhere and full of helpful functions. Great autofocus biggest benefit and, with adapter, I can use my extensive stock of EF and EF-S lenses. It was a no brainer purchase.
