Good TV but the stand is rubbish my TV table is not wide enough all firms use these now i am told its for cheapness, they are rubbish will not be using this TV till i get the stand sorted stupid thing

4K Picture quality slightly better than our old HD TV. Difficult to spot the difference between full HD and 4K. We tried with the built-in 4K Netflix and with a Roku stick. Not impressed. Because this TV is built on Android, it's slow. Sometimes, painfully slow. Google TV needs to be restarted every day to get previews working. Sound quality 3 out of 5. The remote control is rather useless. Totally flat top with small buttons. Forget using it in a total darkness in bed. Maybe I'm picky by my previous one had large buttons of different shapes with easy-to-use layout in mind. What a disappointment.

Bought this after seeing my sons(plus ,the old eyes are going a bit )to watch, makes viewing a bit more immersive

The TV itself looks great, the picture quality is excellent. Unfortunately the UI is slow, with Android TV taking a painful amount of time to do just about anything. Rebooting the TV over and over fixes any issues for a while but it goes back to being laggy and unresponsive. The ambilight feature looks good, unfortunately trying to watch any content on the TV takes so long we barely get to enjoy the backlighting.

It’s very slow when going through the home and the interactive side of it, it keeps glitching and I have to keep re-booting it to get it working again

I recommend this tv 100% It's quick and easy to set up from the box. The features ie: ambilight add ambience to whatever you watch or games you may play, thus fully immersing you. The picture quality is spot on and so crisp. The sound quality is excellent also. Cannot fault, best purchase I've made in 2022. I had already purchased one for my daughter so had to get one for our living room after seeing how fantastic this tv is.

Can’t fault the tv it’s self, the picture is great and the ambilight LED’s are great. But after only 7 months we were watching tv and the screen suddenly went black. Tried shining a torch on it to see if it was the backlight that had gone but there was still no picture. Sound and LEDs still work which is even more frustrating. Even with a cheap brand of TV I would expect to get a couple of years out of it but 7 months from a manufacturer that’s known for quality? Nah. Not impressed.

Overall a great TV. Picture great with full game features vrr allm etc Dolby vision and Ambilight give movies that extra bit of quality

It's a great picture and sound quality is fine. The only negative is that the processor seems quite slow to respond so going through the guide and changing the channel is slow...

Seems like an excellent TV, the sound is great and the picture stunning but the auto on and off via a HDMI lead does not work and the controls you set don’t always work. Hence why only 3 stars.

For some reason philip have decided to remove the philips hue integration despite this being the whole idea behind the tv. why would the 8105 work with hue but not the 8106. Stupid

I chose this TV mainly for the Ambilight feature and because it was a newer model running on android.

After having the TV for 3 months, I think I would find it hard to go back to a main TV without Ambilight. I makes a real difference.

The reason for only 3 stars is the TV will sometimes be un-responsive when turning on ( and sometimes off). On occasion I have even had to unplug & then plug back in to get it to respond. I'm still not sure if it is a fault with the TV or just a down side of the android on TV.

Forgot to say that one of the biggest issues is that the channel info banner keeps popping up DURING programmes, and at odd times.

Worst t.v I brought if you say put bbc on say 25 volume normal then turn over to its at same volume you can wake the dead

Tv on muutaman kerran sulkeutunut itsestään kesken ohjelman. Tv:n puhekomennot ei toimi. Antaa toisinaan virheilmoituksen " puheentunnistus on varattu ". Tv ei tunnista ulkoista kiintolevyä. Tv on vaihtanut itsestään Youtubelta Tv:lle. Olen kerran pyynöstä päivittänyt Androidin. Voinko vielä tehdä jotain ?
