Only had it 15 months and it was done, Philips not interested.

I would avoid this TV is you can very slow to process even simple stuff like netflix and constanly crashing honestly never been so unimpressed by a tv unable to do the most simple of things

I would seriously avoid this model. It's incredibly unreceptive to the remote's commands no matter how many times you change the batteries, the visuals in the in-built apps constantly go out of sync with the audio, and I've found it impossible to connect a separate hifi to the TV - and not the only one with that issue.

Plenty of better models elsewhere at this price point

Ambilight is a great feature, but software is utterly useless. Apps continually crash, 5-10 second lag on any button push from the controller. If you feel this is good value, remember to add the cost of a Fire Stick at minimum as you’ll need it. I bought this as I trusted the Philips name, but the product feels worse than an ‘off-brand’ budget TV I could’ve bought in a supermarket for half the price. Shame on Philips for green lighting this product.

OS VERY POOR & UNRELIABLE. OFF AIR PICTURE HD OK ,BUT NOT UP TO OTHER MAKES. MOST APPS PRODUCE AN SD QUALITY. PICTURE VARIES AS YOU WATCH. MANY OTHER ISSUES. 4K IS REALLY NOTHING SPECIAL

I really enjoy this TV. I have had it for about 8 months and really enjoy the ambi light features which is so cool. Picture quality is great. The only issue is the operating system is super laggy and needs updating every week or so which is annoying.I use an Apple TV so it’s not that much of an issue but it is annoying. For the price and features it is awesome.

Tv is langzaam en beeld is flets. Erg vervelend is dat er niet genoeg geheugen in zit om firmware upgrades te installeren. Ook is het vervelend dat je de TV app niet kan starten met een TV knop op de afstand bediening.

This TV doesn't let you to sort channels, according to your preferences. You can hide a channel but you cannot sort it elsewhere. Unacceptable!

I bought Philips TV 70PUS7906 - because i believed Philips stood for quality ..

The picture is nice and the ambilight is nice .. The boxing was good.

But the Software is super laggy, it doesn't matter how many times i restart the TV or do a power cycle as you recommend ..

It is soooo slow when pressing a menu button it takes like 5-10 sec to open a menu.

To change TV channels it takes almost 10 sec until i got any reaction. (i'm not on satellite).. So frustrating to zap thru the channels.

Sometimes the TV has forgotten the settings on my fav shows and apps in the home menu and its all just empty.

Yes i got the latest update and i tried to find unnecessary apps to close them.

Philips employees should be really embarrassed to sell this TV to customers.

I'm thinking of returning it, cuz i do not feel relaxed when using this TV to chill with a movie.

Ostin teini-ikäiselle tytölle 300e sisälle kannettuna. Hinta-laatusuhde todellakin kohdillaan. Ei varmaan kaikkia uusimpia sovelluksia, mutta meidän tarpeisiin on riittänyt hyvin. Ambilight on mukava lisä. Ja pidän ulkonäöstä.

Meille sopiva kampe ekaksi älytelkkariksi. Telkkarin ohjelmien kuvanlaatu ei aina kauhean hyvä mutta pääasiassa meillä katsotaan suoratoistopalveluita joten ei niin haittaa. Äänet on mukavan pehmeät. Ambilight on mahtava. Nyt voi laittaa tilan muuten pimeäksi eikä ohjelman valot ota niin silmiin.

Ostin laitteen kakkostelevisioksi kun oli varsin edullisesti myynnissä. Philips oli tuttu minulle entuudestakin eikä tämäkään pettänyt. Kuva ja ääni mielestäni hyvä. Liitäntöjä riittävästi, myös kuulokeliitäntä. Kuulokeliitännän soisi olevan paremmin esillä kun sitä käyttötoimenpiteenä käytetään. Bluetooth ja Miracast ovat sisäänrakennettuna. Ambilightiin kun on tottunut niin sekin mainio lisä.

Tässä oleva Android käyttiksenä on mielestäni parempi kuin Sapphi. Käyttöönotto meni sujuvasti vaikka säätöjen syvempään tutkimiseen/virittelemiseen meneekin aikansa. Perusasetukset olivat ihan hyvät. Käyttöönotossa laite päivitti firmwaren automaattisesti. Lisäksi Androidiin on saatavilla riittävästi ihan toimivia sovelluksia.

Have all Philips ambilght TVs in the house now wouldn’t try anything else

Bought this TV after my LG stopped working just two years in, so I do hope the main board of this TV lasts longer. Love the amblight, but it’s quite fustrating that every time you want to adjust the options of either the amblight, picture or sound it takes you to the menu so I’m unable to adjust the settings whilst seeing them, so having to keep going back and forth making it harder to choose which one sits best. Comparing it to the LG, this is a little bit slower.

We bought the 43" TV and have it sat on a display stand in the bay window. The Ambilight feature is stunning when watching a film at night with the curtains drawn. The picture is clear and crisp, the sound is great too. I have not used the smart features yet, but found set up was easy enough to follow the onscreen instructions, took about 20 mins. The picture is clear even when viewed from an angle sat at the side of the tv. All in all love the TV.

I chose this rating because it's the best TV iv ever purchased and would recommend this TV to anyone.

it unfortunately does not work with PhilipsHue. I had expected that. so unfortunately it was not the best purchase I have made.

Great value for money, 4K, excellent picture for non-OLED TV

Great looking TV with a great picture but really badly designed in the software department. I got the 55pus7906 to replace a Samsung model. I'm massively disappointed to find that I cant use the TV guide to record programmes that are on whilst I'm at work. I have tried a hard drive and a USB stick but it refuses to record on either of them, despite them being formatted by the TV.
