I already had two of these and used them in different rooms. I bought six more to create the party link. Unfortunately, it is near impossible to get these to connect without constant interruptions. I think I have finally worked it out - I should keep my phone beside the one that I am connected to on bluetooth then the other five will work nearly perfectly; but the instructions do not advise of this. I would hate to have 200 of these connected only for them to not work!

Individually however these are fabulous - really good sound quality and robust design. The party connect lets it down, and I would guess that is why they were discontinued after just a few years on sale.

Just got mine after going through its spec. Great speaker!

I am using this bluetooth speaker as a race starter, counting down from a recording on my phone. I like the light blue colour, that it is waterproof and has a clear loud sound out of doors.

Excellent sound, good volume, easy to use, just what I expect from Sony. I mainly listen to classical music, but heavier also sounds great. Reassuring to know I could get a second one and pair them in stereo.

Suhteessa vanhaan JBL:n pikkukaiuttimeen (Clip 3) tämä olikin vähän järeämpi peli kuin osasin odottaa - kuvista ei oikein hahmottanut, kuinka iso kaiutin todella on. Reilun puolen kilon painoisena tämä ei kuitenkaan ole mikään kamalan iso mörssäri, ja sujahtaa kuitenkin aika nätisti reppuun, laukkuun tms. reissussa (mutta ei missään nimessä ole yhtä siro kuin JBL:n Clip-kaiuttimet). Toisaalta ääni on paljon voimakkaampi ja äänenlaatu on aika hyvä (ja selkeä parannus vanhasta JBL:stä, joka toki on jo useamman vuoden ikäistä teknologiaa). Ääni tuntuu perusasetuksillaan olevan melko bassovoittoinen, joka sopii hyvin musiikkiin, mutta ei toimi niin hyvin podcasteja ja muuta puhetta kuunnellessa (etenkin möreä miesääni puuroutuu basson sekaan; vanhan Clipin ääni on selkeämpi puheelle perusasetuksilla). Sony Music Centeristä pystyy kuitenkin säätämään mm. basson voimakkuutta pienemmäksi, jolloin puhetta kuunnellessa ääni paranee.

Sony Music Center ei ole ehkä mukavin sovellus käyttää (esim. päästäkseen equalizer-toimintoihin käsiksi joutuu täppäilemään itsensä parin valikon läpi; sovellus ei vaikuta myöskään tukevan widgettejä tai en ainakaan itse löytänyt sellaista), mutta ajaa asiansa kuitenkin - kaikki tarpeelliset asetukset löytyvät sieltä. Yllätyin hiukan kun sovellus ensimmäisenä alkoi tarjota järjestelmäpäivitystä, aikaisemmat bluetooth-kaiuttimet eivät ole koskaan tarjonneet päivityksiä. 😁 Prosessi ei onneksi kestänyt kauaa (n. 10 minuuttia) ja oli aika selkeä.

Lopuksi vielä erityismaininta näppärästä muotoilusta, jonka ansiosta kaiutin on kätevä laittaa pöydälle tukemaan tablettia/puhelinta/lukulaitetta ym. ja plussaa valmistajalle myöskin modernien koodekkien tuesta (LDAC, AAC; näitä eivät valitettavasti näemmä edes uudet ja kalliimmat JBL:t useinkaan tue). Hinta-laatusuhde laitteessa on kohdallaan ja kaiutinta on helppo suositella tuossa n. 60-70 euron hintaluokassa. Ainakaan lyhyen (n. pari pv) käyttökokemuksen perusteella en keksi laitteesta mitään erityismoitteita. Verkosta löytyi tieto, että pinta on herkkä naarmuuntumaan, mutta aika näyttää kuinka omalle Sonylle käy.

The application is very easy to setup your speaker and it has many options to optimize how to play.

The microphone works perfect for calls.

The battery lasts at least 8 to 10 hours.

My nephew bought one when I heard playing i made up my mind to buy one

Only had it 3 days so far its been good pleased with overall performance and ease of setting it up.

we are a small park of happy mobile/static caravaners, every weekend we get together, from 8 - 30 0f us around the table ((can't have a camp fire, its banned, well we are all OAP's) there were other sound boxes but when our SONY came ,that was it. they even dance now.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and what a great piece of kit works straight out of the box, and the sound is incredible, battery life is great, press of a button and your given battery status.

Bought this as it said it had 16 hour battery life and get 60 min pkay time off 10 min charge but thats not the case it runs out off battery after about 4 hours and takes hours to charge
