As a novice I've found the r10 easy to use , and enjoying trying all the settings to see what i can achieve. Have booked a place on photography course.

Very good camera kit with all you need to get started

This is great little camera and is much smaller and lighter than my DSLR. Autofocus is pretty good. Overall I'm enjoying this camera. I'm looking to upgrade the smaller zoom as it can be a little soft.

Generally the image quality seems fine but I am Extremely disappointed that the 18-45mm lens provided with the kit has wide angle cut-off and that this is hidden by the camera software in the image previews and in the jpeg file format not what I have come to expect of Canon over the decades I have purchased their goods. As I shoot in RAW this is major frustration and problem. The body is small and a bit fiddly for me and I'm gradually finding where turn off the annoying presets to stop the lenses hunting etc, not always in the most obvious menus.

This is my first high end camera, I bought it because it was recommended as a great beginner camera, and it definitely is

I'll probably add another lense at some point; this one doesn't capture fast moving objects too well. Overall for what I want I'm definitely happy and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to spend a bit more on their first pro camera

This is my first proper camera after decades of point and shoot ones which have given some half decent results. I decided it was time to dive into the real world of photography and this camera is excellent. The quality of the images is superb and I’ve now enrolled on a digital photography course to get the best out of it. Next step is a 100-400 lens but I might have to wait for Santa Claus!

I purchase this kit as a replacement for my old EOS350D. I would never believe what an improvement in weight and usability over the 350D as both are entry level units. The lenses are remarkable for size and weight, I even have invested in an RF 100-400 since to get the best out of this little gem.

I bought the EOS R1o about a month ago as part of a bundle with 18-45 and 55-210 lenses. I am not a professional photographer, but do have an interest in photography, particularly travel and landscape photography. I have had Canon DSLRs in the past but recently started to use my i-phone. Realising the limitations of the i-phone I decided to invest in a new mirrorless camera and I thought the Canon the best choice for what I wanted. I have to say my initial impressions are disappointing. First of all the camera does not come with a manual. I know in this modern age more and more information is on line and there is a manual on the canon website, but this is not particularly user friendly and you have to know what to look for before you can access the information, which defeats the object. I therefore bought a book on how to use the camera, but did not find this particularly useful either. I therefore referred to Youtube and found a number of useful videos. Having set my camera to the settings that I thought would be useful I thought that I was all set for my trip to Italy. This was not to be the case. I don't know how I did it, but on a couple of occasions the camera set to delayed time and I therefore missed a couple of interesting shots as a result. It took me some time to get my camera back to the required now shot setting. I also find that the Auto Focus setting does not seem to work when I want to take close ups and have to go to manual focus. When i returned home I also found that a lot of interior shots, had a very orange hue to them, which I had to adjust on my photo software. (I take a lot of church interiors). I took almost 1,000 photographs of my Italian holiday and to be honest am a little disappointed with the results. My wife's photographs taken with her Apple 11 phone are often of better quality. I think that it will be back to the drawing board and Youtube, to see where I am going wrong.

Great up to now but will be using it extensively on holiday in 2 weeks on holiday to Malta & Gozo.

The Canon R10 is my first proper camera, after years of point-and-shoot.

The quality of pictures is fantastic, with so many different options to change/improve to outcome. It's been a bit of a learning curve to take on new terminology, but nothing a good book and a few Youtube videos didn't solve.

Bought the 18-45 kit lens with the camera, and absolutely no complaint about it, though the more I read the more my mind is wandering to adding another lens.

No hesitation recommending this camera to anyone.

I have watched that many youtube videos about My new Canon Eos R10 that are very useful, I am still learning, it takes very good photos and videos so far and I have only had it a month.

Purchased a month or so ago this camera is a big improvement on my EOS 760D purchased 12+ years ago. Being much lighter has taken a bit of getting used to but I now find an advantage. The package included two lenses which are both very useful for a range of my amateur shots and cover most of my needs. A second battery is a must as the R10 does seem to use more power. The only drawback I have found as an amateur who likes just taking photos without too much technical input is understanding what all the features and buttons offer! A simple printed guide/booklet included with the purchase would help me but I know there is information and a user guide online although I cant easily refer to that when out and about taking photos. I certainly feel this package of camera plus extras is good value and pleased with my purchase, my learning curve with all the features it offers increases weekly by trial and error.

Great camera to use very light and easy to understand all the controls. Takes great pictures.

I haven't had the chance to really try the Canon R10 out yet. already I am really pleased with the camera. I have been a Canon fan for over 20 years + having been with Nikon. This camera is easy to use and is similar to the Canon 100 which I had. The R10 takes great photos - this camera isn't stripped down too much and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as it is a good basic Camera while leaving the important things on the Camera which are needed - after reading numerous reports on the Media

Auto focus is brilliant image quality is very detailed getting a rf 600 lens so watch this space

Det är min första spegel lösa kamera och jag är otroligt glad att jag valde Canon eos R 10, för en lättare och smidigare kamera går inte att hitta. Med tydliga instruktioner för bästa möjliga bild beroende på objekt gör fotograferingen till ett rent nöje samtidigt som man har möjlighet att experimentera med sina bilder i avsnitten kreativa val.

Treated myself to this camera and am so glad I took the plunge. It is everything I need from a camera. Still getting use to it, but it is so simple and sensible to use.

I bought this camera last month to capture special moments with my newborn son. The camera is easy to use for the beginner photographer and shoots great pictures.

I chose the R10 because it had more flexibility and features than the R50. It also has a more comfortable grip and you can choose bundle it with the 18-150mm super zoom lens at a discount. Though the R7 has more pixels, is weatherproof and has IBIS, it is quite a bit heavier and costly.

Bought for holidays, wanted something versatile for shooting in the city, landscapes and wildlife. Covers all features, very good value for money. Easy to use with a bit of practice.

It’s an amazing camera for beginners, would definitely recommend when thinking to start photography.

Frustrated by its default to manual focus which took me a while to resolve first time I used it I took 1470 pictures in an hour and a half every shot perfectly focused and photographs on the invicta east Kent ac website awesome
