I have to say that every time I use this shaver and all it does I feel a little cheated as to why it did not come along sooner as it has so many useful functions as well as it's simplicity to use and maintain.

Add to that fast charging and great run time I was so pleased I bought spares and sundries to make it the full ticket , spot on from Phillips great features and superb design .

Gets almost every hair, fairly quick and easy to use. Charge lasts for ages.

Excellent product feels good and well made and quieter than others

I chose this item as I have a corded Phillips epilator, which is basic, but good plus an old wet and dry. This outclassed both. I was fed up of the slowness and burning out of Braun and Reminton's nylon cogs break. I have not been disappointed!!!!!! The battery life on this machine is great, a whole body epilation each time with battery left. It is fast, efficient, the light is a great bonus. Frankly, it waaaaaaay exceeds my expectations!!!!!! Registering the product online meant I got an extra 18 months warranty, now that in itself speaks for itself!!!!!!!! I would recommend this product to anyone who requires a good, reliable epilator. Definitely value for money!!!!!!!

At 46 years old, perimenopausal and utterly sick of having a 5 o’clock shadow if I shave. This has been an absolute game changer. After the initial pain of dealing with legs that heavily resembled those of Chewbacca (they hadn’t been shaved in over 5 months) so were actually furry. I’m now using this every week or two to maintain being fur free. Saving me a small fortune in razor blades.

Honestly now it’s rarely painful, just the odd deep rooted one that ‘smarts’ for a second. Cannot praise this enough.

This epilator doesn't grab small - medium hairs and appears to have been designed by someone who has never seen a naked female body. If you are a 2D cartoon character then this will work for you, but if any small part of you curves then it's not going to follow your contours. My hairs aren't short; they are a good few mm and it still doesn't grab them. I've been using an old Philips compact corded epilator that is very loud and aggressive but works and is a lot cheaper. So logic suggests if you pay a lot more you'll get an even better one - but what a fool I was! You'd think a company that's been dealing with hair removal so long could design something that removes hair but instead I get this. I'm genuinely angry that you can sell something so poor for so much and just expect people to deal with it. It's taking advantage of people and it's incredibly bad for the poor customer wallets and the economy - this lump of useless plastic has to go in the bin now. Officially striking Philips off any future purchases, I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

I purchased this for my son following an operation in a delicate area that he was having to shave , he say's it does a good job , I have no reason to doubt him .

Adverised as a great product which meant to epilate even the smallest hair unfortunately doesn't do the job at all. Thank god I kept my old epilator which is much more effective. Spent money on something that will be kept in cupboard.

Works well . No more irritation from shaving . Just as quick as shaving I’d not quicker

Really really impressed with this Epilator, it's light weight and easy to use and is virtually pain free and its rechargeable which is great. I certainly recommend it.

I’ve been using Philips epilators for quite a few years now and I’ve always loved the older models (even though the batteries would stop charging after a few years, they were great)! I’ve recently purchased this one and I loved all the attachments that it was coming with- the brush is amazing! The trimmers work perfectly fine as well and that’s pretty much where it stops for me! The epilator function and head is a bit weak, the head is small and doesn’t seem to have much grip compared to the older models, the 2 speeds aren’t that great either! The shape and size are quite good as well thinking about it now…but overall, I’m a bit disappointed

I love the round file attachment and the epilator, the size is perfect size for me . Great attachments included. It took me a little while to work out what each one did. My only wish would be that the bag was a case.

I love this epilator. I had the braun for a long time but this is far superior. Better settings, more ergonomic head, more user friendly and much much more effective.

Love the fact that this can be used in the shower/bath as well as dry but it does not leave the skin feeling salon smooth as it suggests. Have to use regularly to ensure all hair is removed and leaves skin feeling prickly - would not recommend if you have thick hair - very disappointed for the price.

Grumpy opening:

I don't expect to buy a premium product and then have to search the internet for a written user guide. Having to open giant pieces of flimsy paper, then find the language I needed and still then having to decipher icons for the most minimum of information was not a great experience for me. I found some good information from a leading competitor's site.

Also the shiny pink trim? Please reconsider using pink to market towards an item that is clearly intended for females. I hadn't realised it until I received it; had I seen it in a shop I would not have bought it for that reason.

Moving on...

As far as the item itself, there is obviously a knack for optimal hair removal and it will take time to withstand the eye-watering discomfort produced. I am persevering for the sake of personal dignity, but hope in my next life to be reincarnated as a happy and healthily hairy orangutang.

Amazing painless epilator I highly recomended beautiful product

after many years use from my old philips epilator it was time for a replacement.I am very pleased with this purchase as it has lots of attachments with the options for buying more accessories.

Now I won’t lie, epilation at the start hurts but past the initial stage it’s a breeze. I have found this epilator to be brilliant for removing my leg hair but also the attachments it comes with are incredibly useful. The shaver is great for arm hair and bikini line whilst the bikini trimmer is great for those more precise jobs. The exfoliation head is soft on the skin but is fantastic at reducing those pesky ingrown hairs but most surprising to me has been the pedicure head, it is perfect and my feet are now joining the rest of me as being satin smooth. Originally brought to be more environmentally conscious due to shaving waste but will not be looking back anymore, I have found my perfect accompaniment to my Lumea.
