After following all instructions provided, the unit would not turn on, it would blink once and then turnoff. While trying to fix it, the humidifier could show the alarms for an empty tank, and also the alarm for when the water reservoir was removed, but otherwise would not start or turn on. Fortunately I was able to bring the defective unit back to the store and get my money back, in the end I decide to buy a "dumb humidifier", without any of the additional smart features that this one shows. I do not recommend this, and believe this a low quality product and brand.
