Kokemukset ja arvostelut

Sony WH-1000XM5 on ollut erinomainen hankinta. Melunvaimennus on huippuluokkaa – lentokoneen ja junan taustahäly katoaa lähes kokonaan. Äänenlaatu on lämmin ja tasapainoinen, ja kuulokkeet ovat todella mukavat pitkissäkin pätkissä. Puheluiden äänenlaatu yllätti positiivisesti: Teams/puhelut toimivat selkeästi ja taustamelu suodattuu hyvin.

Ainoa miinus on, että kuulokkeet eivät taitu kasaan kuten edellinen XM4-malli, mutta muuten käytettävyys on erinomainen. Akkukesto riittää mainiosti pitkille matkoille.

Suosittelen erityisesti paljon matkustaville – loistava kokonaisuus ja hintansa arvoinen.

The only thing that I think let's them down is there is annoying issue where the headphones will occasionally disconnect from devices/turn off. Seems to be a common issue which I have not found a solution for

I boought this item a couple of weeks ago and very pleased with it.

For me, a comfortable fit on the head and over the ears.

Exterior sound is well muffled and i like the balance of bass and treble and find listening to music very pleasing, as is listening to people speaking, such as in a podcast.

I got a good deal on the headphones via Richer Sounds and think the headphones are excellent value for money.

I’ve been using the Sony WH-1000XM5 for only two days, and the difference compared to my previous headphones (the JBL Live 770NC) is absolutely huge — especially in terms of sound quality and comfort.

With the JBL, I liked the strong bass, but in many tracks the sound felt a bit muddy. The low and mid frequencies sometimes blended together, and the overall presentation could get slightly confusing depending on the song. It had power, but not much clarity.

The WH-1000XM5, on the other hand, delivers a completely different listening experience. The sound is cleaner, more detailed, and far better balanced. Even using Bluetooth with my iPhone 16 Pro Max and my MacBook Air (which don’t support Sony’s high-resolution audio codecs), the XM5 still sounds outstanding. The level of detail, instrument separation, and overall richness of the audio is miles ahead of what I experienced with the JBL.

Comfort is another strong point. The XM5 is incredibly light, the fit is perfect, and I can wear it for long periods with zero fatigue — something I couldn’t say about many other headphones I’ve tried.

Overall, the Sony WH-1000XM5 provides a fuller, clearer, and more enjoyable sound signature, along with excellent comfort. It’s a significant upgrade in every way, and I’m extremely happy with the switch.

A little too big for my head size, would be perfect fit with a hoodie under.

Ihan luokaton puheluissa, vanha mdr-1000x hakkaa nämä mennentullen. Puheluissa kaikki askeleet, tuulen kohina, ohi ajavien autojen ja jopa vastaantulevan polkupyörän renkaiden ääni vahvistuu puhelun toiselle osapuolelle ihan järkyttävästi.

Good voice quality, easy to use, voice is clear. It is worth to buy

Pretty much exactly the same as my old XM3 which is now about 5 years old. Not any better sound, noise cancelling is similar. Case is worse.

Beyond happy with my XM5. They are everything I wanted in headphones. The ANC is top notch, sound quality is elite, comfort level is 10/10, feels very premium.

My parents bought me some Sony m5 headphones for my birthday which was on the 15/11/25. I don’t think they even got to a week before the noise cancelling had problems. I have a high pitch ringing noise in my right ear every time I turn on the noise cancelling. I am really disappointed with this quality considering they are supposed to be some of the best headphones on the market. Truly embarrassing to be honestly

Taattua Sony laatua, toimii loistavasti palavereissa ja musiikin kuuntelussa äänenlaatu on hyvä.

• Erinomaista äänenlaatua luvattiin, mutta omaan korvaani äänenlaatu on jopa vähemmän miellyttävä kuin muissa valtavasti halvemmissa kuulokkeissa.
• istuvuus on KAMALA. Erittäin epämukavat ja huterat. silmälasit hankaavat ja kuulokkeiden melko kapeat pehmusteet pitävät ääntä jokaisessa liikkeessä. käyttöohjeet kieltävät kuulokkeet myös sateessa ja salilla. mitä edes voin tehdä näiden kanssa????
• lähes käyttökelvoton mikki. Ääneni kuuluu hiljaisena ja mumisevana

Vertailuksi: oon käyttänyt nyt 3 vuotta Skullcandyn n. 90€ Hesh ANC overear kuulokkeita, jotka edelleenkin voittavat nämä Sonyn istuvuudessa, äänenlaadussa, mukavuudessa, tukevuudessa ja missähän vielä. Ainoa mikä molemmissa on puutteellinen ja lähes käyttökelvoton on kuulokkeiden mikki. Olisin kuvitellut voivani olla edes puhelussa nämä yli 300€ kuulokkeet päässä. En aivan oikeasti pitäisi näitä käytössä vaikka olisivat 50€

Did loads of research before purchasing 1000XM5 headphones, now I own a set and have used them for three weeks I am very pleased with sound quality. They are comfortable, easy to use and great value for money. Would recommend them and suggest you go direct to Sony as their prices are keen and in my case cheaper than other online outlets.

Itselläni kuulokkeet olivat satunnaisessa toimistokäytössä. Toisen kuulokkeen kiinnike/sarana hajosi noin 1,5 vuoden käytön jälkeen, vaikka eivät kovassa rasituksessa olleetkaan. Sonylla oltiin sitä mieltä, että tuollainen fyysinen vaurio ei mene takuun piikkiin. No pitäkööt tunkkinsa. Tästä lähtien en osta Sonya, jos ei ole pakko. Onneksi en ole harrastanut Pleikkareita 90-luvun jälkeen.

Vähän tällaisesta jää huono fiilis myös jälleenmyyjän suuntaan, niin päätin että katselen vaikkapa seuraavat 5 vuotta elektroniikkani jostain muista ketjuista. Eihän tämä nyt täysin looginen päätös ollut, mutta joskus sitä vaan ei tule ajateltua järjen kanssa.

Äänenlaatu kuulokkeissa oli kyllä hyvä ja käytettävyyskin ihan OK.
