So far, so good
I bought this to replace an LG which failed after only 11 months. So far, so good !
Good choice
Great picture, good sound, easy remote. Pleased with the whole package
Great look
Only had this installed today but I am very pleased with picture and look.
Superb TV
Purchased 2 weeks ago. Excellent picture quality & sound. Easy to set up.
Satisfied customer
Really pleased with this TV. Picture and sound quality very good. Very useful being able to customise picture and sound settings to suit.
Great TV 4k
Easy to assemble the stand. Great to watch. Good audio. Beautiful 4k ultra DVD experience
Brilliant tv .. but.
A really lovely tv and a great replacement for our older Sony ctv however, our old tv was not that good at streaming due to poor wifi reception and thought the new one would be better! unfortunately not ...it appears that it needs to be in the same room to get enough signal and bandwidth to work reliably even with an extender its not a lot better... may be our old house with thick walls but was hoping for better things otherwise its a brilliant tv
Sony to set
It’s a good set had to get Sony dvd to go with it now lost apps
Good tv
Only had it 3 days but the picture and sound is very good. Easy to set up apps
Unbelievable quality of picture and superb sound.
Bought this nine days ago, expensive purchase but well worth it, can’t believe the quality of picture and sound, unbelievable, great investment and very happy.
Great set
So much better than old Sony set that wa 8 years old
Too complicated
After 2 weeks i conqured the menu system " Too much " .... The removal of the headphone socket was a mistake. The menu to use headphones is too complicated. The size of the remote is annoying to use. The picture and sound are good but vsrious reviewers could not have used it in a domestic situation.
Looks good in my lounge.
I bought a Sony Bravia 14 (?) years ago and wes very happy with it. Of course it did not have the current generation of programmes and apps.
When my poor TV died just in the new year (2026) I bought my current Sony Bravia and have enjoyed looking through all the new add ons.
Great features
Had this tv for about 3 weeks now. So different from my previous Sony LED tv in level of techy stuff! Still finding my way around it and getting used to the different features. I am so disappointed with the remote controls (2) The backlit one is brilliant for my not too good eyesight when using it. Only trouble is I cannot fast forward with it and I have to use the 2nd remote. This 2nd one is cheap and smaller and not very ergonomically designed. Could they have a rethink? Also because I have used the backlit remote so much trying out the different options, the batteries only lasted about 2 weeks (expensive!) The picture is sharp and colour is good. Sound without a soundbar is better than my previous tv. Wish the front page was brighter (not easy to read as it is so much darker) Having said all this I am happy so far with my choice. Time will tell.
Great but has bugs in the software
Excellent in every respect EXCEPT when you do a software update - it is necessary to do a full factory reset after doing the software update otherwise old data in the system causes misbehaviour of the menu for setting reminders. Doing a full reset means you have to re-enter all your account information for Prime, Netflix, etc etc. Is it incompatibility between Sony and Google software or a bug in either of these? Sony are currently investigating this.
Good picture. Easy to set up.
We've had our new TV for one week and are very pleased with it. The picture is great. We also bought the Sony Theatre Bar 6 and are pleased with the sound.
Unexpected purchase, but delighted!
I decided it was time to treat myself to a new tv, bigger than my previous one! The twist in the story is that I was adamant I wanted a Samsung! I went in to the shop, looked at 3 different Samsung tv's, spoke to the assistant and came out with a Sony! And I couldn't be more pleased!
Great picture, terrific sound and very easy to set up. Roll on the winter Olympics which will look so much better on this tv!
Thanks Sony!
Lovely TV
Bought this just after Christmas. Thought our old tv was good but this is a different world.
Took a bit to get used to operating it but not really difficult.
What's not to like?
We bought the 48" version for a large room and it's a pleasure to watch - the picture is excellent and the sound is good on its own. It took a couple of hours to set up using google tv, but half of this was some issues we had with google not the actual tv set, which had a fairly straightforward set of instructions. We haven't attached any other equipment to it so can't comment on that. The menu system is fine - what with different apps there are always a few steps needed to move between them. Haven't tried using verbal instructions as the remote works fine.
not as good as previous model
lack of casting function is a disgrace when used as a normal tv. should have been left as Android, previous version was excellent. I am actively looking for a replacement. no more Bravia for me
Excellent tv fantastic picture quality with realis
After having an d Samsung tv for around 10 years and the picture not being to good, it was time to upgrade and after a lot of research I’d decided on definitely having an oled tv, I was going to go for an LG but then saw the Sony and after getting a lot of advice from the guy in Curry’s pc world, I decided to go with the Sony oled XR-48A90K a 48 inch tv, yes it’s not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for the picture quality is excellent and the colours are so realistic, I also bought the Sony s400 soundbar which I would always recommend having a soundbar with any modern tv, I managed to get a discount too, always ask as you never know, overall so far with the tv each tv channel is much clearer bright and colourful, ultra HD is always going to look the best but even none hd channels look a lot better than on my old tv, I set the tv up myself which was quite easy but I also like to do these things so I know where everything goes ect, it comes with two remotes a traditional one and a more sleek one so you can use either one so if you watch a lot of tv it’s worth paying for a good quality tv
Picture quality is excellent and the speakers good
We bought one recently. I set it up myself. Most of it was easy. Some of it not so. A better comprehensive manual would have helped. The extras were not to easy to connect. Plug and play it was not. We have now mastered the dvd and Humax but my experience of working with electrical equipment was a good help.
Could do better.
Love it
I have always used another make of tv, but I find the picture and sound better than previous tv’s
I was surprised with the weight it far heavier than previous tv’s I have had, not a problem just a surprise
Incredibly good TV
Even though this is a few years old by now, this is an incredibly good TV - I wanted a high quality OLED but in a relatively small size to fit in my living room and this has done the job perfectly. It's solid, well designed and the picture quality is great - particularly once it's been dialled in. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials on how to do this and the menus are all intuitive and easy to navigate. Sony Pictures Core is a great hidden bonus - there's loads of great content to explore on there. This is not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for.
