I've used Lenovo Thinkpads from when they were IBM Thinkpads and the TrackPoint is one of the reasons for that longevity. I've also worn out more or lost more than a few of these caps. These particular caps work well with at least the X1 Carbon Gen 11.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Treat yourself to a new TrackPoint ! You'll be surprised how much better touch you'll get by replacing the old crusty one. This package of 10 will allow you to share a few with friends. Just be aware: older ThinkPads use a similar looking Track point but with a larger "socket" on the bottom. These are the replacement TrackPoints with the smaller socket used on newer Thinkpads.

These fit my X1 Carbon Gen 7 and it feels like a new computer. Better grip of the new cap actually decreased the pressure necessary to move the cursor and so reduced drift and allowed me to turn down the sensitivity.
