Great text and photo quality, easy setup and long lasting ink but the absence of duplex double sided printing is a shame and the inability to not even be able to manually duplex print from the mobile app is inexcusable when most other manufacturers offer this function in their apps. Note you can manually duplex print from a computer. The tiny display is very poor but functional and rear paper loading is a pain as you have to move the printer to load so it needs more desk space. My old MG7150 printer was far superior except in the ink capacity.

Easy to use, and versatile ,especially via the phone app. Superb quality photo printing,which was the main reason I bought it. A4 pages in black and white or colour very crisp. Very economical on inks. An excellent machine.

Good value all purpose printer.

Very pleased with this printer. Good quality photo prints and useful to print via the internet using iPhone which is easy to use. . Only improvement would be a printing app for MacBook to match the iPhone.

I wanted a printer to produce high quality photos and this one certainly does that. With the rear paper feed it will handle quite thick photo paper. The downside is that it's not the most user friendly printer. No mention of the 13 buttons on the top of it in the paper manual and the very small display needs good eye sight to read it.

Overall, very pleased with it but needs some time to get to grips with.

Ok, but very small, fiddly and hard to read settings window lets this printer down. Also, I dislike having to pay for scan and copy functions that I won't use.

I wasn't sure what printer to buy, the new cannon tank printers are fast, this one reviewed as being a bit slow. Now I've got it, I'm blown away and I've never been so happy about buying a printer. The photo prints are just as good, if not better than shop prints, speed isn't too bad and you get a lot of printer and ink for your money. Speed is a bit on the slower side, but I can queue up plenty of prints and leave it and it's not that slow. Software is rock solid and while the printer doesn't have a front panel, it doesn't need it. Warranty is also good. No real downside, I love it.

Only used general household printers before and bought this for photo printing as my interest in photography has grown. It has not disappointed in any respect. The photo prints are, for a home studio.........stunning.

I come from many years of depending on Epson printers for professional design need and, though still cautious, the signs are excellent I am very glad to say!

Photo print quality is excellent which is what I was looking for so that I could print my own zines at home. Great value for money.

I'm not extremly impressed by the normal text on normal paper, it is more blurred than what it used to be on my MG7150. I've just printed 1 photo and it was good. I miss the cassets though ;)

It's hard to read the text on the quite dark textdisplay with black letters and numbers. It had been better with a lighter background. But so far It's good.

The quality of the photographs are excellent. The printer itself was easy to set up and the available apps great.

Delighted with the colour quality of this printer - as good as my old iP4950. A bit slow but manageable for a home printer. Display window a bit small and difficult to read.

Good images on the right paper but requires trial and error to optimise.

Lacks proper drivers and control for current Mac OS.

Very limited screen display and instructions so some basic operations are tedious.

Disappointed that the paper feed is rear only and that it doesn't have automatic duplex printing. Apart from that it's up to the high standard of print that I've come to expect from Canon

Owned this printer just over a month and having returned from holidays we have put it through its paces by printing off a shed full of photographs. Great for printing photographs but tad slow for printing double sided documents - it could do with a selection to print odd or even pages to make the task a bit more bearable.

Find the ink tanks really easy to fill & see the level being visible all the time.

Olen käyttänyt tätä lähinnä valokuvien tulostamiseen ja siinä tulosteiden laatu on edukseen. Tämä on peruskäytössä helppokäyttöinen ja tulostaa riittävän nopeasti laadukkaita kuvia ja muita tulosteita. Ainut miinus käyttömukavuudessa on tulostimen asetusten säätö, joka on hankalaa pienellä ruudulla ja muutamalla napilla.

Käyttöönotto onnistui helposti ohjeita noudattamalla. Vaikka tuotekuvauksessa ei sitä virallisesti mainita, niin myös Linux ajurit löytyvät ja ne toimivat ilman mitään ylimääräistä virittelyä. Valokuvatulostuslaatu on huipputasoa. Tulostin on hieman äänekäs. Se surisee ja naksuttelee 10 minuuttia käyttöönoton yhteydessä.

Ostin entisen monitoimitulostimen tilalle täytettävien värisäiliöiden vuoksi.

Värit hupenee yllättävän äkkiä normi mustekasetti tulostimella. Ja etenkin valokuvia tulostaessa.

Vasta muutaman valokuvan tulostanut, eikä pahaa sanottavaa.

Kannattaa miettiä valokuvapaperin laatua, millaisen kuvan haluaa.

Luonnollisesti kuvia tulostaessa myös jälkikäsittelyllä (kuvan oton jälkeen) on suuri vaikutus lopputulokseen.

Ainoastaan kuvien tulostusnopeus voisi olla rivakampi (A4).

Vasta muutamia kuvia tulostanut ja opettelussa.

Valokuvan paperin laatuun kannattaa satsata, jos kuvia meinaa.

Ihan hyviä perus Canon matta valokuvapaperilla mulle.

Jos ei aiempaa kokemusta valokuvatulostimista, niin tämä voi olla yksi hyvä ja nimenomaan suht edullinen tulostaa täyttettävien värisäiliöiden vuoksi.

Kantsii käyttää kameran, kännyn tai oikean kuvankäsittelyohjelma ja tsekata siellä kuvaa ennen, kuin tulostaa.

Tosin kuva voi silti poiketa siitä, kun ei tämä ammattikone.
