Washes and dries well. We usually run a quick wash & dry program every day or at least every other day for our daily clothes, takes about 1 hour. So we run the machine daily half full. For half load or less, quick program performs great. If we fill more than half, we use longer programs, because the 40-minute quick dry program is not enough to dry all of it. For things like bedding, we run the eco program for both washing and drying. It takes about 5 hours, very silently, but in the end you can either put them on your bed or put them into a closet right away. No more hustling trying to hang huge sheets with elastic corners!
Motor is dead quiet. You can only hear the clothes and the dryer balls hitting around. Except for when it speeds up to 1600 RPM. At that speed you hear whining, naturally, but only when in the same room.
Other reviews are correct about the plastic smell after drying. However I have noticed that plastic smell is strong only if we run with the "full sun" auto-drying option (complete drying option according to manual). There is almost no time difference between "half sun" ("dry enough that you don't have to hand dry them" according to manual) and "full sun" options, so I think in the "full sun" it's just running hotter, which ends up heating up the plastics within the machine too much and causes the smell. If we run "half sun" it will still come out pretty dry, and there will be very little smell.
It's been almost a month since we received and started using the machine, and there is barely any complaints so far. It's great.
