I had no idea that this was also a fax machine. Who uses fax anymore? It led to some confusion with drivers and start up. The blurb should have made this clear. It's noisy and slow but fine for the home use that I need.

This is my 3rd PIXMA TR4650 printer. I find them relatively easy to connect to all my Apple devices and print options and quality are excellent. My only criticism is that it would be good if the small control display window on the top of the printer was lit, as it’s very difficult to see what it says.

Had this printer for a while and it's a nightmare. Switches to copy mode every time I switch it on. NO MANUAL! Switch it to WIFI and it has to re-set up the wifi. It has an Easy set up which never seems to work. Merely states "Follow the instructions on your pc" There are no instructions on the pc. Go to print some document and it states "Printer not responding" Shocking - if it bothers to kick in at all I could well have lost an hour!

I Got this as a Christmas present but found it hard to set up with no instructions or an installation disc (penny pinching for the money you pay for the machine ) and i cannot find a way to put a shortcut to my desk top

No manual supplied - online blurb mentions "set up button" but not even a basic picture to show where or what that is, never mind how it functions. My PC and laptop found my old Epson very easily but can't find this piece of dung.

you need a brain like Einstein to try work out how to set this up as all you get is a QR code, Spent 2 hrs yesterday trying to get sorted now settled down to try again if no luck its going straight in bin

Set up my phone in less than a minute so don't know why people found it difficult to set up. Took less than a minute to connect to my Linux system using Ubuntu which is harder than windows managed to scan and print no problem. Just follow instructions on your phone and make sure you come you connect to same network your phone is on , that will put printer on WiFi network and your computer or network should find it. It's not rocket science. 😂

Recently I had bought , it very helpful and convenient for usage. Connect also excellent. My purpose of buying it fulfilled.

bought yesterday still trying to get it to work, can copy but that is all. QR code comes up on phone but I want it on pc, microsoft store does not seem to have same app. Cheap plastic inner, took ages to work out to put in cartridges scared to break it, videos not clear. Loads of paper regarding warranty and compliance nothing about set up except the QR code this is completely ridiculous, can see me buying another printer pretty soon as this is too much trouble

I boult this printer because old one broke I had a Canon before so I thought it wood be easy to set up . All u get is a booklet that is a waste of time being in the box and a qr code that dose not help so what can I say about the tr4650 don't wast your money

Purchased and Set Up Today.... Poorly designed menu options using the LCD screen, which in itself is not easy to read as NOT backlit. NO manual in the box just a sheet of paper directing you to a webpage .... once webpage came up the instructions where confusing and contradictory... with NO mention of functions available or how to set those up.... Make the assumption all buyers are technical.

Most annoying is that having watched the promo video they cleverly only showed using the EDF not showing the external paper tray and delivery tray.. so now the printer is much larger than I had planned... previous model had an internal paper tray

The print quality is very good. It's very noisy and a bit clunky so that was a bit of disappointment. The interface is complex and confusing. The software is very dated but luckily I'm old. I have used it for print and scanning which were good. I had hoped to load paper from the top so it would look tidy but you have to open the front panel to load paper so takes up more space than I hoped. Overall print quality good but too noisy for me.

i bought it last month and i am not happy as the printer frequently has connection problem with my computer....and i can't print blank and white only if the color cartridge is empty

I have wasted several hours trying to print from a new laptop. The printer is defaulting to Fax mode despite printing a test sheet OK. I have reloaded the software several times. The set up guide is unclear. Sometimes an option for Canon smart comes up. User manual dos not cover this problem. Totally regret this purchase.

Wonderful printer, really pleased with it, but the box did not have any manual in it, so had to google to find out how to connect it to my laptop. Which was a pain, but once connected, it is a great printer.

Have just spent 2 hours trying to set this up and once I finally worked out how to enter numbers and capitals for the WIFI code and got it connected its now come up with a flashing fault code of 7700! Looks like I'm sending it back. It cannot be an ink issue as some online pages state as its brand new!

As with most, if not all Canon products it is very well made. However, it is rather complicated to use. I have been using printer for more years than I care to remember. This printer is the most difficult to use. Non the less when one eventually gets to use it correctly the results are excellent..

I've had the printer a few weeks now and I very pleased with it. Very easy to set up and it does all the things my old printer had stopped doing such as gripping a single sheet of paper and feeding through on its own, printing evenly and compact plus 2 years cover.
