• vesi höyrystyy kanteen ja koska koko kansi pitää irroittaa laittaessaan vettä niin kastelee sit paikkoja

Best kettle I've ever owned, apart from the pitiful (faulty) on/off switch!

Horrendous - takes forever to boil, water tastes like plastic all the time. Had the kettle for 2 months, tried everything to make it taste normal, nothing worked. Waste of money.

Much like an engineer and architect, we had two different priorities when it came to valuing this kettle. It takes just under two minutes to boil 4 cups of water, and does it with little to no sound which is particularly important for someone who can have a tea at any and all times of the day

I very much need things to be aesthetically pleasing and sympathetic to its surroundings. Compared to designer models available on the market, the Philips Eco Conscious is a strong competitor on your countertop. In a neutral warm tone, it is sleek and stylish without too much faff. An example of this is the contrasting wood-tone top which is completely removable allowing for easier re-fill access.

My mother, having had more experience in buying and using multiple kettles was quick to note the size of the kettle and the cord length. I would suggest the Eco Conscious to be more than suitable size for an average family, it is large enough to supply everyone while not being too bulky and taking too much room. It is also has a decent length cord providing you with flexibility to move should you need it but it does also include on board cord storage so wires can be kept neatly.

Overall a very very good kettle. My only cons were you need to make sure the lid, which is completely removable, has clicked back into place. Otherwise it can take longer to boil and/or leak. Also as a personal preference, I like a narrower sprout for pouring. Also after 3 weeks of use, it already needs descaling. Doesn't bother me too much but worth noting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice tylish kettle. Water boils quickly and kettle not load. Esay to fill up water. Good point that water indicator starts from 1 cup. So you can make just 1 cup for yourself. Comfortable handle. Good to know that kettle done from 100% eco plastic.

Great for any kitchen that fits white colours or for anyone wanting to be more eco friendly! It fits up to 8 cups which is plenty! Flicks on very nicely and boils SO quietly! Which is what I love as previously I had such a loud kettle!! Haha. Big handle and has a very nice eco look and feel to it, if that makes sense? You know it’s eco friendly!! Haha it has that smooth feel! Great product!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kettle functions as expected, is well made and sturdy overall - the handle feels especially robust and is shaped ergonomically. The design of the kettle has a minimalist vibe which I like, and the wooden effect on the lid fits well with the eco-conscious theme of the product range.

Features wise, I like that the capacity indicator is discreetly tucked behind the handle so the kettle looks minimalist. It's also clear to read when holding the kettle with either left or right hand because of its positioning. The kettle boils fast enough and I like that the lid comes off completely, as this makes cleaning inside much easier than kettles with a flip style but attached lid.

One drawback is that sometimes the light indicator can be hard to read in a bright room as the light is white, but this wouldn't put me off purchasing the item or warrant a return.

Now I'm not sure if I've got a defective one or not but it's annoying when you have to keep pressing the switch back down for it to stay on and actually boil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has a lovely design which can adapt to any kitchen style and colour, I personally love the the lid with the wood effect top.the boiling time it’s really quick comparative to other brands on the market and the kettle can hold 1.7L of water which is market in litres and cups.the only thing that need improving are the fact that sometimes it doesn’t switch off automatically after boiling water.

Added bonus is that is has an swivel base and large handle to hold. Has matching toaster and coffee maker too to complete the whole set.
