Nothing is more defeating is having your prize steak slip out of the tongs, have the dog grab it and sprint away. NOT WITH THESE tongs. The grab the item you are cooking firmly but not so to damage the item be cooked.

Great, sturdy tongs, but took me forever to figure out how to open them.

These tongs are great. Easy to use, spring tension just right, & you can pick-up just about anything easily. Great precision tips. I also own a Webber Genesis II, great gas grill... Gotta love Webber...

I enjoy the grip texture and the tongs aggressive grip for flipping larger pieces of meat. The locking mechanism is a bit overdone in my opinion. It doesn’t fit in any drawers in my home so now it’s hanging off the grip permanently. The locking mechanism does work though and seems sturdy. Hope they last. The previous pair I purchased still lock by pulling back but the black plastic literally won’t stay on the tool anymore.

Now spouse has shown me locking me mechanism it makes sense - was trying to find a YouTube video showing and couldn’t. Looking at the symbols on the lock literally the top of the locks are horizontal for locked and then with one part of horizontal bar lifted for unlocked. I was equating the symbols with how the bar should be on the top of the Weber tongs literally! The bar was in a vertical position as opposed to the horizontal position in the symbol and so I thought I had to twist it to the horizontal position and then lift one side to unlock so matched what the symbol doing. Now I have been shown I can see how I goofed reading these international symbols for locked and unlocked and it is an easy shift to the right with the bar while simultaneously squeezing the tongs unlocks it. I feel a bit silly but recommend if you had added the technique of how to unlock the tongs onto the videos already have on YouTube about the tongs would be useful. Great tongs though.

Use them for all sorts grilling. Works on meat & veggies.

They don't open very wide. Can't get them around a good sized Tri-tip roast, or anything big? Not sure why they don't open wider?

Well made and sturdy grill tongs. I believe they would be better if the spring was a little less stiff.

Best tongs ever. Strong and easy to use (for my medium hand size). I like the locking mechanism at the end simply has to move side to side instead of having to pull it out. I was not expecting them to be as long as they are, but I love it now that I have used it. I can quickly grab and work with any items on the grill without having to be over the grill. I have already ordered a second pair.

These tongs are nice and long. I haven’t burned my hand since I started using them. Thanks!
