The tv's side backlights were surprisingly bad. The dirty picture effect was really bad, and when the screen showed darkened scenes, there were white blooming patches in quite obvious discrete areas. Considering we bought a top end 55 inch qled 3 years ago, it just shows that there can be significant differences between low end and high models. We sent it back. Now just deciding on which OLED to get instead.
