Sony HVL-F60RM2 -salamavalo

The HVL F600RM2 is a superb powerful flash gun. It is easy to operate and illuminates portraits and groups evenly. It has a useful built in wide panel and bounce sheet - although they can be a bit fiddly to extract. There is a separate diffuser and a couple of colour filters. There is an off camera stand which sits snugly in a pouch in the case. It is a shame the case doesn't fully accommodate the flash gun with the diffuser in place. Which is a surprising corner cut by Sony for such a high end product. I would have liked more robust padding on the case and an external loop for attaching to a camera bag or belt would be a useful addition. Given the power of the gun you need to be aware that it gets through batteries at a rate of knots and I would recommend a couple of sets of rechargeables.

Owned now for a few months and it is fantastic! Total integration and built for the Sony - nothing will work this well. I returned some off-make gear that felt a little cheap, so glad I splashed out on this - amazing bit of kit! Highly recommended!

I am so happy about the product, it works perfectly. I can change the amount of light, but I still struggle to adjust the remote.

This is great Flash that packs punch. Feature rich and very flexable.

Say goodbye to 3rd party. You will never go back to them after using this superb Sony flash. I never travel without it. Superb quality and control from the camera rather than awkward 3rd party menus and controls.

Excellent, sturdy and confidence inspiring flash. It is large and heavy, not ideal for compact Sony cameras, but it is powerful and feature rich.

Wireless features are excellent, but I have used other makes with more user friendly disposition. I don't know why but very often I feel, while using Sony photographic equipment, as it was not designed by photographers.

Nevertheless, once you set up the flash in tandem with other off-camera flashes wirelessly, it performs flawlessly.

Extremely accurate light measuring in coordination with auto focusing in all AF modes, as far as I can tell.

I particularly like the rotating head of this flash.
