I bought this camera a month ago I already have two other Sony's Bridge cameras absolutely great but I wanted a full frame no I have one it's great I just bought two lenses a 70/200 hundred f4 and a 70/202 f2.8 just took the camera and lens out today for the first time tried to f2.8 today very good lens tomorrow I will take the f4 lens out and try some macro shots to see what that is like

Its a fantastic camera. Amazing choice to capture all the memories for life. Always looking forward to a day off to spend time with nature and use the camera’s great features along with the lenses. Sony A7 IV❤️❤️❤️

Needed to re fire my passion this camera has me motivated

Well I must say it's a very interesting piece of equipment to use not sure most of your more expensive product farmer fund the one I am using currently but I do enjoy working wicked working with it quite handy it's not heavy and bulky car about in the field so yeah so far I'm enjoying it or using ,

After several years using the Sony A7III, I decided to upgrade to the Sony A7IV, and the change is clearly noticeable. The first thing you feel is the ergonomics: the grip is more comfortable, the buttons are better placed, and the camera feels more modern and well-designed for long shooting sessions.

The autofocus is a big step forward—faster, more accurate, and with much better tracking, especially for faces and eyes. In photography it feels more reliable, and in video it makes a clear difference.

Image quality keeps Sony’s signature look, but with improved color, better dynamic range, and more flexible files for editing.

Overall, the A7IV is not just an update—it’s a more complete, smoother, and more comfortable camera to use.

If you’re coming from the A7III, the upgrade is worth it, especially if you shoot both photos and video.

I bought this product about a month ago and has completely changed my photography, i’m enjoying it so much more knowing my camera is fully flexible with certain things. Also my personal favourite is the auto tracking i think it’s amazing and hasn’t let me down on shots the focus is always where i need it. Overall i love this camera and definitely recommend to others.

Awesome bit of kit - far exceeding my expectations.

As a beginner photographer this was quite an investment after considering other alternatives. I also looked at the 6700 and the A7Cii due to their more compact size but I've loved shooting with the A7iv. The customisation and features are incredible and really aid in my photography. The build quality is exceptional and feels solid and comfortable to hold without being too heavy when combined with the FE 28-70mm kit lens or the FE 1.8 50mm prime lens i picked up. It offers fantastic versatility in both standard photography and video capture and is a fantastic hybrid camera. Having the E-mount is extremely useful when looking at other lens and their compatibility and negates any complications for me. Low light capability is also of great quality thanks to the full frame sensor even when bumping up the ISO the camera performs really well. The EVF is extremely clear and with the rotation it offers flexibility when looking for shots.

The quick function button is also super helpful giving you the ability to customise your options giving you complete control and quick access to your most used functions. The joystick is a great addition, it helps me quickly select focus areas meaning I can frame my shot and focus just how i want. The dual SD slot is very handy especially if you have client work and need a failsafe. Battery life also seems to be very reasonable and consistent. I'd fully recommend this camera to anyone for both photography and video capture. As a full frame camera it's too large to carry around in your pocket so if you're looking for compactness then while the body isn't particularly large on the A7iv, other options like the APS-C cameras may suit more, especially for travel.

A super camera works great with my 2times converter and my 70-200mm F4 macro lens

I bought this camera two years ago and I'm happy with it.

A really good camera. The new Menu System takes a bit of getting used to, but is better than the A7iii.

The updates to the camera software work well, especially the Focus Bracketting, however if it had some more techical guidance on step values it would be even better. I would have liked to have had sensor shift or pixel shift, perhaps this might come in a later software upgrade. Auto Focus better than my previous Sony cameras, fast and accurate when you get the right Focus Area set.

Bought this as my first proper camera for photo and video work for a media business. Very easy to produce high quality media, is very easy to transfer media to phone, I would just like more information/explanations in the menu system for various settings to be able to understand when might be best to use them.
