Asus PRIME Z690-P WIFI D4 LGA 1700 ATX-emolevy

Even though I've only just registered this, I've had it running in my PC for a couple of years now, been a brilliant purchase ! Built my own PC, great Mother board to put together, very easy to work on, and 100% reliable.

Entinen Asuksen emolevy on toiminut pöytäkoneessani moitteetta 12v, siksi päädyin nyt myös Asukseen. Syy miksi emolevy piti uusia ja muutama muukin komponentti, on yksinkertaisesti ikä kysymys. Käytän pöytäkonetta pääasiassa raskaaseen kuvankäsittelyyn. Ohjelmien takertelua, toimintojen odottelua ja ohjelmien kaatumisia on jo kestetty riittävästi. Vanha emolevy ei ollut myöskään yhteensopiva Windows 11 kanssa kuten ei myöskään suoritin, joka meni myös uusiksi samasta syystä. Muistit ja kovalevy vaihtuivat myös, mutta koneen nopeuden ja joustavan toiminnan takia.

Uusi Asus Prime Z690-P WIFI D4 pitää sisällään runsaasti hyviä ominaisuksia. Siihen on nyt asennettu huippunopea M.2 SSD 1Tt kovalevy. WIFI toimi myös hyvin ja yllätti positiivisesti nopeudellaan. Bluetooth pelittää myös hyvin. Sain sillä yhdistettyä vastamelukuulokkeet koneeseen pienen askartelun jälkeen.

Kun kaikki uudet komponentit oli asennettu ja vanha Win10 siirretty onnistuneesti uudelle SSD-kovalevylle oli mukava hämmästellä koneen nopeutta. Kuvankäsittelyohjelmat toimivat nyt ripeästi ja niitä on todella ilo käyttää. Vanha kovalevy jäi kuvien varastoksi, joten silläkin on vielä käyttöä. Windows 11 on nyt valmiin odottelemassa Updatessa päivitystä.

This has been one of the best motherboards I have ever fitted and I've fitted quite a few in over 30 years of building PC's. It was easy to fit with plenty of scope for expansion and loads of extras that came as standard. The only bug bare I had with this system (though very small) was was getting hold of a cooler and fan for the processor as it being a new type of chip set the fittings had changed for the mounting bracket and you needed an upgrade for the new system which took over a week to arrive from Germany.

Good quality motherboard. Looks very neat and professional. It does not have rgb lights everywhere therefore it is superb for me as the minimalist style of it appeals to me. Easy to use as all slots are marked clearly. Morover, the manual is very clear. Not overpriced and allows for overclocking. Plenty of slots and connectors. Performance is spot on as expected. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Emolevy on toiminut erinomaisesti kaikin puolin. Asennus oli todella helppoa ja Bios asetukset selkeät. Wifi kantavuus on meidän taloudessa ollut hyvä ja toiminut luotettavasti. Suosittelen

Unbelievable value, and easy to install. Would have got a full rating if I could have got the LAN port working

Appears well made (I didn’t install it) and works as expected. BIOS/UEFI is comprehensive but visually a bit ‘blocky’. Also doesn’t alert to need to update and update is manual through a USB stick. My previous Intel NUC had supporting software that alerted me and did the update over the internet.
