Bought this shaver some time ago now, I do recommend it the shave is short which we all want. The charge lasts a long time, love the fact its a wet and dry but I feel the wet shave is the better one , I'm in the process of buying a replacement shaving foil , which has lasted about 12 months and the foot replacement disc which disappointed to say did not last as long , it would have been great if you could get a slightly heavier grade for people like me have foot problems and gets very rough heels, I felt it was not enough for me personally but it would not stop me from buying another of the same make and model if needed again.

Having recently had surgery on my underarm lymph glands I was warned to be very careful never to cut myself shaving that area so I had to switch from wet shaving with a blade in the shower. Initially I purchased a cheaper, battery powered device and managed to cut myself with the trimming edge first use.

After a bit more investigation I purchased this model & am delighted to report absolutely no cuts to my underarm area. I tend to use it dry (with a small amount of talc for "glide"). I must admit I continue to wet shave my legs for a closer finish.

However, the bikini line trimmer is also excellent as is the foot file attachment.

If, like me, you need to avoid the risk of cuts to your underarm area I can highly recommend this shaver.

It’s so easy to use and I can shave my legs so quickly, without cutting myself like I usually do, it's a fantastic product for keeping your body hair in check and having always used a manual shaver before using this I'm very impressed at the smoothness and quickness of achieving the results. I like the foot file as it got rid of my dry hard skin, and I now have silky feet aswell as everything else, I’m smooth as a dolphin. I have now ditched the manual razor for this product I'm that impressed.

It came in a nice neat box with other attachments And one is a foot file which was amazing, also is a plug attachment and a cleaning brush and nice pouch to keep them in. Instructions was clear and easy to follow. This is a great wet and dry shaver that can be used while showing, very happy with my product.

Simple assembly of parts allows you to swap the heads quickly with ease.

Using the shaver for the first time was simple and pain free - even for someone new to electric shaving this is highly recommended.

The unit is a little loud but this is noted as only a minor issue.

It is comfortable in your hand -even when using wet in the shower the grip lines on the side ensure it does not slip out of your hand.

The overall shave is good and as effective as a manual razor and my skin was lady smooth for a few days.

Shaving underarms was easy due to the rounded head leaving the area hair free without any nicks to my skin- as often experienced when using a razor.

I particularly like the additional head for a foot file , ideal for keeping your feet silky smooth all year round.

Comes with a handy little drawstring bag so that you can keep pieces altogether-also great if you are travelling .

Overall,this is a great little electric shaver with some welcome additional features.

Also with it being wireless and being able to use it in the shower is a big plus for me. The guards are easy to put on and remove and they produce a very neat cut. I was expecting a bit of discomfort but there wasn't any. When doing my legs the cut was very close to the skin which is great. By far the best part of this product for me was the foot file. I was not expecting the product to come with this but it is the most used attachment for me. The filing on the foot is extremely gentle and it really does the job well.

I have thick dark hair and was hoping this would be the one, it does a decent job but needs a bit of work still in order to be perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved this shaver not only does it do an incredible close shave but it also has another head that can get into them really tricky places. It is chargeable which I love as you're not wasting money on batteries. It is really easy to clean and came with a lovely pouch to store all the bits and bobs in so it's perfect for travelling too! A full charge has lasted me a good few shaving sessions so it's absolutely ideal.

What really did win me over was the foot file. That really is something to brag about!! It has left my feet incredibly smooth. I had two corns on my feet which were incredibly painful but the foot file has worked wonders and it wasn't the slightest bit painful.

It gave a clean soft shave - i tried it on legs and bikini area. and was great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this Philips SatinShave Prestige for just over a week now and loved the fact it comes with different attachments including a foot file and pouch to store everything together. Instructions are very clear and have pictures to assist. A quick 15 min charge is enough for 10 mins use and a full charge for 1 1/2 hours gives 40 mins of use and has 2 speed settings. Love the fact it can be used wet or dry. I have had variable results using this sometimes works well other times it either glides over the hairs leaving them intact or seems to catch and pull them out particularly when I used dry on underarm. The foot file attachment works well buffing down areas on the feet.

The main thing that stood out to me was how smooth the shave was on both wet and dry skin. I also found I had no irritation on sensitive areas which I did with my manual shaver. It charged up very quick and has a good battery life. I especially liked the foot file feature. It is a compact shaver and easy to store in the pouch, easy for on the go also.

It is truly prestige! I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a first time electric shaver.

It has a pivoting head so is extremely comfortable to use and is not damaging to your skin. It has a couple of different shaving heads: one for all over shaving and another, smaller head for more intimate shaving. Another head included is a pumice stone for hard skin on your feet. I thought this was a really good idea and it worked very well.

This shaver can be used in or out of the shower which I think makes it really convenient.

It is easy to charge and so far I have not needed to re-charge it and I have used it at least 6 or 7 times from the initial charge.

Overall I have been pleasantly surprised with my 1st ever electric shaver.

The razor comes with many attachments including a foot file, this attachment is really good and leaves your feet very smooth.

The razor is powerful and has two power settings, the feel is good (feels well made) and it's very easy to use and swap heads. Also included is a trimmer for intimate areas, again this works well, the razor and accessories all fit in a bag for easy storage.

Arrived quickly and well packaged and keeps a good charge for a long period of time the shaver also doesn't pinch when you use it and leaves your skin smooth after. I always struggle to find a shaver that doesn't bring my under arms out in a burning rash and this one does the job perfectly! Love this shaver. It's got to be the best one I have ever used. Especially like the skin stretcher which works very well. Leaves a lovely close shave on legs, if you follow instructions and make sure you go in the right direction. Especially like the added food file as well, brings up feet nice and soft. Would definitely recommend to others.
