Great quality and a great lens for a casual userArvosana 5/5
I was originally wary about this - it cost about half the price of the other lenses I was considering. But, honestly... not only is this good quality - the autofocus works without a hitch, the image is clear, the lens is light... it's just all around practical. Unlike my Sigma lens I just bought, this lens comes with an actual hard case (and not just fabric sleeve) that I use to store an alternate lens in my travel case when I'm out and about... and everything just works.
I use this for talking head visions, vlogging, and as a webcam; I work with natural light and at times low light indoors... and it works well in all cases. I don't play around with settings much, but it took less to get a good quality look with this lens than with the kit lens and the Sigma lens I have for this.
You couldn't ask more for the money, in fact.
