OLED, Ambilight sekä Bowers & Wilkins samassa paketissa, ei kai tuossa oikein vikaan voi mennä.

OLED ei jätä paljoa toivomisen varaa kuvanlaadussa, ambilight on yllättänyt erittäin positiivisesti. Bowers&Wilkins soittaa varsinkin diskantit hienosti, jos bassoa kuitenkin kaipaa yhtään enemmän niin erillisen subwooferin hankintaan kannattanee varautua. Television android järjestelmä vähän tönkkö, kaikki kyllä toimii mutta navigointi ei maailman nopeinta. On kyllä arvoisensa (alennuksesta 999€)!

I recommend this product to anyone who wants a completely unique Tv experience. The ambilight and surround sound B&W sound bar are second to none.

Very impressed with this television, which lives up to its ratings and reviews online. The picture quality is excellent and setting up is easy.

I would like the option to display the time onscreen [maybe in the bottom left] and also it would be good to have the remote buttons lit, as I tend to watch at night in a dark room, and it's not so very easy to see the buttons.

Currently iPlayer is non-functioning in Apps, so hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Love everything about it, only negative I wish it was easier to get to the sound and picture settings. Apart from that it's excellent

I have always loved AMBILIGHT tvs, but this is just fantastic. Not only do the lights bring full immersion to the experience, but the sound bar makes every moment sound fantastic too!

Chose this tv due to the picture quality and sound. Went to see the tv before I purchased it and waited 5 weeks for delivery due to how good I thought it was.

Katselu onnistuu hienosti vaikka valoa olisi ympärillä enemmänkin. Ääni on hyvä ja Atmos äänet kuuluu joskin tässä olisi hieman parantamisen varaa mutta kokonaisuus on hyvä. Subwoofer on aika pakolliset jos haluaa tuhdimpaa bassoa. Ambilight on hyvä ja toimii moitteetta sekä HUE valot tarvittaessa lisänä.

I’ve had Philips top end TVs for decades going back to CRT and PAL Plus, then with LCD with Ambilight (which I cannot do without). This is my second OLED, the first a 55902 latest four years and is still fine, but this has an even better EVO OLED screen which is more accurate with colours and whites. Folk get tied up with brightness levels, but I watch with reduced room light levels which is perfect for serious film viewing. Even in daylight, but perhaps not direct sunlight, it’s certainly bright enough. For my viewing the whites can be blindingly bright, like when the camera is pointed at the sun or an explosion.

I’m not a gamer, however, it was disappointing to see it hit issues with the main ‘system chip’ SOC, like many other TV manufactures, so 4K 120Hz does working without reducing resolution and VRR doesn’t work at all :-( If you’re not into gaming or using it as a PC Monitor this shouldn’t affect you as streaming devices, Apps and Blu-ray don’t offer these video features and looks a long way off for non-gaming use.

As I have a high end AV Sound System I didn’t connect the soundbar, however, it certainly looks well made and I have heard one which sounded extremely good for a soundbar. As it’s the only OLED with the EVO panel and a dual Philips P5 video CPU, which offers the best non-gaming picture, this is the best OLED TV for me.

It’s an Android OS TV now running version 10, version 11 was ‘promised for spring 2022’, but so far this is not available. This doesn’t really affect much but it could allow video Apps to use higher quality feeds.

First rate stunning picture and good sound from speaker bar, however in the uk Freesat is not loaded, the remote needs to be Bluetooth and the TV guide is very slow in advance of current time on

some channels. Also I cannot find series recording on the guide for usb recording. However the stunning picture and am I light make this a great tv.

Upead kuvanlaatu ja todella tyylikäs laite. Soundbar tuottaa merkittävästi paremman äänen kuin mitä normaalisti TVn kaiuttimista saa ulos. Ne ovat myös yleiskäyttöiset ja esim. Spotify:n kuunteleminen ruutu sammutettuna toimii hienosti.

Käyttömukavuudesta voi sanoa, että vihdoin Philips on saanut aikaan kauko-ohjaimen jolla TVn käyttö on mukavaa. Se on laadukkaan tuntuinen, mukava käyttää taustavalaistuksen ansiosta ja TODELLA NOPEA! Aikaisemmat Philips Android TV:t ovat tuntuneet hitailta - vika ei ole kuitenkaan ollut TV:ssä (esim. puhelin applikaation kautta käytettynä ovat olleet ihan ok). Nyt pelaa hienosti. Antaisin 5/5 käyttömukavuudesta jos näytön sammuttamiselle olisi oma nappi kauko-ohjaimessa ja kanavien vaihtaminen sujuisi nopeampaa.

Huom! Ainakaan itselläni ei vanhassa TVssä ollut CAM toiminut Elisan kaapeli-tv kortin kanssa. Ostin uuden CAM:in ja ongelmat katosi.

Super-sharp OLED picture, thin frame and Towers & Wilkins attached sounder make this an unbeatable combination. Ambilight is a great addition to the package.

Generally this is an excellent tv. However I think there are a few areas that need to be improved. I am finding lip sync issues and problems when switching from hdr content back to hd. The tv tends not to switch from hdr so therefore have to go into settings to achieve this. Also lip sync always seems to be slightly out no matter what settings I use. If coming from streaming back to terrestrial tv the issue is even worse. This can be improved by switching channel and then back though. The sound is excellent but I wish it could be set up to suit the environment the tv is in like some other sound bars. Perhaps this could be achieved by an app or the soundbar could play certain sounds and adjust itself to suit the environment it is in. Overall I am quite satisfied with my purchase.

Philips OLED936 is the worst TV i have ever brought, I was disappointed that the TV wont be getting VRR, but shocked to find that the TV cant even do 120Hz 1080p,1440p or 4K without lowering the resolution, (this is without VRR) the TV has a lot of bugs from the screen turning bright saturated to a dull grey color in an instant. My sound cuts out, only thing that works is the netflex starting sound, the only fix is too unplug from mains, then reconnect, only for the problem to come back again a few days later, the remote doesnt work correctly, i can see the presses on remote being registered on TV light flashing but TV wont register the input, this TV is the worst TV ever made. DO NOT BUY!!!

Have to play with settings a little but picture is fantastic and a great improvement on the Samsung Curved TV it replaced. Blue Ray 4K a little blotchy in places but that might be the disc itself. Had a slight issue with the B&W speaker but Philip dealt with that immediately - very impressed with the service

I've really been enjoying watching movies on this TV. I find the Ambilight to be stunning, a great addition to my room. The picture quality in "Film Maker" mode is simply stunning, I've rewatched lots of movies and I've enjoyed them even more than my old Pioneer Plasma TV I've had for years.

The sound quality is good, a little under my expectations. I've added a sub and that has made a big difference. It's much better than most modern TV's but I expected more from the B&W brand. The sound is clear but lacks any bottom end. There is little stereo separation, but I didn't really expect there to be with the size of the speaker.

Dolby Atmos just doesn't work, can't say I've heard it once. When I swap to my full home cinema setup there is a massive jump, but that is to be expected.

But I do love the fact it's built in and acts as the stand. A very neat and attractive feature.

Overall I'm delighted with this purchase. Very nearly gave five stars but a couple of minor niggles held me back. Generally picture and sound are excellent (it's a pity LG don't make the 48" panel in the very highest spec you get with the 55" but I'm not sure I'd notice). Functionality and use is largely intuitive and easy but there are a couple of niggles. (1) When looking at the programme guide it automatically opens the top line to show all the additional detail. This knocks two or three lines of channels off the bottom of the screen before you've had a chance to read them. It's just a really annoying feature, you can be about to read something and it disappears. Would be much, much better to just allow you to select the detail when you want to see it. (2)The second thing is that I can add apps to the favourites list on the home screen but haven't found a way to remove the ones I don't want or at least re-order them to the order I'd like.

Oh and a word on Ambilight, it wasn't a reason I bought the screen and I thought I'd probably switch it off and not use it....but I love it. What a fantastic feature. Not something I expected to be saying.

Having owned a 935 model from 2020, I read a lot about the new 936 prior to purchase. The fact that it had the new 'EVO' panel with much greater brightness was the main deciding factor. The static-image detection had also been improved and so whats not to like?

The 936 does look stunning, although I have to say that I prefer the speaker bar of the 935, with the cloth on the front, rather than on top as per the 936.

After set-up was completed, I delved into the menu to customise my picture settings. I kept things simple with the 935 and watched most content on 'AI' mode, which gave a superb image. Try as I might, I could not get such a good image on the 936.

Thats not to say that the picture isn't good. Its just not as good as the 935. Why would that be? Is the picture processing engine just going too far now? I tried 'Filmmaker' mode and although better, it is darker (as expected) and not really to my taste. Even after a month of viewing, I was still not happy with the picture.

The sound is as good as the previous model. having said that, I don't have it set at mega-levels and so can't comment on its performance when really loud.

The remote control is very nice, but the lack of an 'i' button is quite simply, odd???

It is quick but the keys are a little too flush for my liking.

The worst thing about the TV (and has been a gripe of mine since my first 4K Philips TV in 2018), is the awful TV Guide. There is no mini-picture, just sound of the current viewed channel and when scrolling up or down, the cursor moves forward to later times without any user input. The guide has always been poor and remains so. This is something that desperately needs updating.

Having said all of this, I should say that the 936 isn't a bad TV in any respects. Its just not as good as the 935 model that it replaced. Perhaps the annual 'update' of TV's for new models should be changed to Biennial (or 2-years)? I think that the desire to get new TV's out every year is now getting counter-productive.

In the end, I sold the 936 and bought another 935. Sorry Philips, you need to make the 'improvements' much more significant.

This is a review of the 48 inch model (48OLED936/12). Unlike normal LED/LCD televisions that rely on a backlight this tv uses the superior OLED technology wherein every pixel is independently controlled and lit. This produces a far sharper and better managed image with deep but detailed blacks and a picture that looks the same from all angles of the room. Although the image was over-saturated out of the box it was easy to adjust to my liking. With the addition of the Bowers and Wilkins sound system this product oozes class and is a real winner. I happily disposed of my av surround system prior to purchase knowing that the quality of the sound would be a worthy replacement and unless you like thunderously overpowering bass the balanced and refined sound is more than capable of matching the quality of the image whether it be an action movie or a classical concert. Although I was not familiar with Ambilight, and perhaps thought it may be a gimmick, it really is a welcome addition to visual enjoyment without being intrusive as it can be adjusted to your liking or turned off. The remote is laid out in an ergonomic and logical fashion and has a really nice feel to it. TV has certainly come of age and this OLED television is a purchase I am happy to recommend and one which will not disappoint. Since purchasing the tv in early December 2021 I did have a small but disturbing left/right motion jerkiness problem which manifested only on a specific programme streamed from the Disney+ channel. Fortunately it did clear itself and did not require any intervention. All good news and a full recommendation still stands.

Had two of these TV's both faulty,the first had ambilight issues,and motion problems,so was returned and replaced,the second had even worse motion problems,and all four HDMI ports went to a green screen,so was totally unusable,so that was returned,and I was refunded,just going to keep my ten year old lg for now.

Shame as the Philips looked the part,and the sound bar was great,I think Philips has serious build quality issues with the internals of these TV's!

Excellent picture quality. Ambilight enhances the viewing experience. Easy button lit remote control with quality feel. Replaced a 5.1 surround system, so this OLED television complete with a B&W soundbar elegantly built as the stand was a no-brainer. Unless you want a full cinema experience with earth shattering sound you would have to stick to a full surround system, this however is more than adequate at fulfilling the audio requirements of a normal viewing environment. Settings out of the box were too over-saturated for my tastes but it was an easy tweak to adjust. Upscaling very good. Expensive OLED television but with the inclusion of the B&W soundbar it is worth the investment.
