Philips Avent SCF291/00 -sähköinen höyrysterilointilaite

Tuttipullojen sterilointiin on runsaasti tilaa. Se on superhelppoa; paina vain kytkintä ja sterilointi kestää vain 10 minuuttia.

Koska sitä on käytetty päivittäin kuuden kuukauden ajan, jolloin lapseni juo maitoa, mielestäni se on hintansa arvoinen.

Tuotteeseen jää kuitenkin käytön jälkeen paljon vesipisaroita.

This is my second time buying this sterilizer — I had the same one for my first baby and it worked perfectly, so I sold it when we no longer needed it. Overall, I’m happy with it: it’s quiet, easy to use, and does the job well. The only downsides are that the water level mark isn’t very clear and it’s a bit tricky to clean — water spills when removing the top tray, and some residue can build up at the bottom. Maybe next time I’ll try the version with a drying function.

Tilava sisältä, mahtuu kahteen kerrokseen tarvikkeita. Nopea ohjelma ja säilyy laitteen sisällä pitkään puhtaana.

I cannot recommend this product enough!

As someone who used to design medical sterilises, I did a lot of comparison with other products. This product expels because of:

1-drying feature: the product claims goods are kept sanitised until the lid is open. Microbio will grow on moist surfaces. Therefore, it is key to have dry goods when opening the lid.

2-sterilisation method: this product is a steam. I really do not buy into products that claim sterilisation with UV. Please avoid these for your children. UV process is heavily limited by distance to the UV light source. I do not believe that UV light will penetrate in any meaningful way around crevices.

3-steam penetration: the product is designed in a way that allows the steam to easily flow between layers.

Quick and efficient sterilization process. Only take few minutes and 6 bottles and heads can be sterilized.

It's easy to use. You can fit any size bottles in the sterliser, breat pump as well. The compartments are great. No leaking water on any surfaces. Slimline fits tidy in my kitchen. 10 minutes to sterlise bottles. It's steam so the lid will have water on it, just like any other steam sterliser. Happy with my purchase and the price

Alkuun keittelimme kaksospojillemme pulloja kattilassa, mutta tässä meinasi mennä järki, kun tarvitsimme 6 pullon sterilointiin 8 litran kattilan ja veden kiehumisessa meni ikuisuus… Laitetta on erittäin helppo käyttää ja pullot puhdistuvat käden käänteessä!

Pari päivää jaksaa keitellä pulloja vedessä, mutta tällä laitteella homma on äärimmäisen paljon helpompaa. Laitteeseen mahtuu kerralla hyvä määrä pulloja, tutteja ja muuta steriloitavaa. Laitetta voi toki käyttää myös minkä tahansa muun astian/tavaran sterilointiin.
