Toiminut erittäin hyvin omassa käytössä, eikä vikoja ole ollut. Suhteellisen hiljainen ja tehoja saa hyvin irti kyllä.

How sexy can a GPU look without compromising performance, look at the ASUS ROG Strix range of GPUs and you have your answer.

Kortin suorituskyky on odotetulla ja luvatulla tasolla, ajoin sillä Lone Echo 2 -VR-peliä täysillä grafiikoilla ja se oli aika lailla kortin tehojen ylärajalla, vaativissa kohdissa alkoi esiintyä nykimistä. Asuksen GPU Tweakilla taustaprosessien sulkeminen ja varovainen ylikellotus antaa pienen lisätehon.

Äänentasosta en keksi huonoa sanottavaa, sillä en osaa erottaa sitä Noctuan prosessorituulettimen ja Fractalin Define R5 -kotelon tuulettimien seasta.

Huonoa kortissa on hävytön hinnoittelu. Asuksen ROG-malli on ainakin 300 euroa halvimpia saman kortin vaihtoehtoja kalliimpi, joskin rahalla saa Asuksen erinomaiset säätömahdollisuudet ja ohjelmistot. Lisää tehoja tämä lisähinta ei juurikaan tuo, ellei ylikellotusmahdollisuus satu sopimaan juuri johonkin tiettyyn käyttötarkoitukseesi.

Huomioitavaa asennuksesta:

• Fractalin Define R5 -kotelosta oli poistettava kovalevykehikon keskiosa, jotta kortti mahtui paikoilleen
• vaatii 3 erillistä PCI-e -poweria, 850W virtalähde on toiminut hyvin

Great performing card, plenty enough power for all AAA released games to date. Good aesthetics in any build, keeps a constant temperature under load 70 degrees to mid 70's

Great card and runs lovely and cool, it's longer than my last strix 1070 card, so I had to change front fan out for a thinner one, to make it fit but apart from that great GPU!

Also thing to note, make sure your PSU is good enough for the card, you may need 3 separate PCIE power cables. Red LED next to the PCIE power means power issues with that socket/cable.

Really well put together card, the cooler is the same as is installed on the 3080 and 3090's and so is slightly overkill on a 3070 Ti, but that makes this card great - as well as the on-card case fan headers. The only downside for me, upgrading from a top whack 1070 Ti, the price to performance increase ratio is very poor. The card is a fair bit faster than my overclocked 1070 Ti FTW2 card, but not twice-the-price-worth.

Having a rtx 2070 the fans went wild to cool it. With this new graphics card it’s quieter feels more solid and longer lasting and looks the part. Downfall the box for the price is basic could do with an impressive opening as we keep the boxes for displaying purposes

I was upgrading from an NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER FE. I was looking for the founders edition of this variant of the card but could not find one. I was drawn to this GPU as it fit well with my system. I was happy that I did.

PROS:

Could handle games with no issues in high performance with high settings;

Great productivity performance in video editing/rendering;

Good cooling solution design;

Quiet in either BIOS settings;

Very nice aesthetics with just the right amount of ARGB implementation;

2 RGB pins available if needed;

ARGB is easily controlled via ASUS AURA;

Compatible with MSI Afterburner for further overclocking if you need to but the ASUS GPU Tweak II is also pretty handy.

CONS:

Sagging issues due to length and weight of the card. Would be nice if ASUS provided one in the box. (I had to purchase a separate bracket to support it.);

Power hungry;

Would be nice if this variant had more VRAM;

Expensive.

In the end, it depended on how much I was willing to spend on my system. For me, I wanted to keep the ROG-themed aesthetic of my build and the performance that I could get from it. I know there are competitive options available out there. However, as I was able to purchase this card via 0% financing, it was an easy decision for me.

I can definitely recommend this GPU. I trust the brand and have always used their products before.
