The worst parts about the TV are the UI, and remote control (lack of media control buttons).

The media player supports fewer audio codecs than my old TV from another bran, which was 10 years old, the number of videos I haven't been able to watch on it due to its lack of support for the media codec is too many.

The interface is unintuitive and buggy. After an the media player has stopped picking up my network share containing videos, so it's hard to watch my home-movies. When it did (somewhat) work, it would bug out after scrolling a bit, and would stop listing all of the videos on the share after a bit, and would normally take about 10 minutes to load a folder after traversing into 4 nested folders.

Also, after update network functionality has been flaky, with it insisting it doesn't have network even though it does, and some apps will tell you to check your network where as others will work fine as you use it. Normally takes a couple of minutes for most network functionality to return (media player rarely works now).

The remote is horrible and lacks media control buttons which vital for a modern remote now the video on demand is a thing, it takes about four clicks to unpause a video depending on the service, and two to pause.

The sponsored buttons on the remote are also annoying

I have this TV model LG OLED 55 A1PSA and the sound bar LG SP9A. BOTH devices say they reproduce Dolby Atmos content when content is available.

But, it's been 6 months trying to make it work.

Yeah... I'm using a special and expensive ultra speed HDMI cable.

Image quality is really great. WebOS is really poor. Remote control is very poor, the select button broke in less than a year due to poor design.

I understand this is an entry level OLED TV, but its core component - screen - is premium quality, and I could not find anything that it does not do well. It is impossible to tell what more expensive TVs do better without putting them next to this one. 4K footage looks stunning. Full HD upscales really well and looks just as good as 4K. Upscaled YouTube videos are sharp, crisp and realistic, as if in 3D, with all miniscule details. DVDs look sharper, as if in HD, and even VHS copies look better than the originals. Very low resolution contents sometimes twinkles, as the TV tries to upscale static shots.

The TV plays any video files from flash cards and external hard drives: DVD VOB, mp4, etc. The sound is deep and the volume is beyond my requirements. The remote with a pointer is very handy. There are 2 HDMI and 2 USB ports, slightly awkward to reach when wall mounted; more can be added with splitters. It has got a basic web browser, so any videos that can be found on a PC can be found and played on this TV, albeit tabs and right click are not available.

Overall, impressive quality and performance. I now want to watch more videos because of this TV.

I wanted the best TV that I could afford. And I think I achieved that!

My 1st LG TV normally aim for a Panasonic TV and very impressed not disappointed at all.

The only real gripe is the TV guide/search in Apps. Text size is so small - we have our TV on the wall in a large lounge and sit down the other end of the room. Neither my partner nor I, both of whom are long-sighted, can read the guide or search without wearing glasses which we've had to purchase in order to read the TV. The other dislike is searching backwards in the channels which seems to offer a more limited selection of programmes to watch on demand than was the case with our previous Hitachi.

Tarkoituksena oli hankkia televisio projektorin ja 82 tuuman valkokankaan tilalle, muuton ja pienemmän asunnon takia. Katselin eri malleja varsin pitkään, perinteinen led, qled ja oled mallien väliltä. Päädyin tähän mallliin hinnan ja laadukkaan kuvan takia. Mielestäni kuva on aivan riittävä peruskäyttöön tv ja netflix tasolle. Pelaajalle voi muodostua kynnykseksi 60hz virkistystaajuus, nopeimpiin käännöksiin voisi olla 120 hz paikallaan.

Kuva on "plasmamainen", kontrasti on upea, värit toistuvat oikein ja musta on todellakin mustaa, ei harmaata mössöä. Mutta yleissävy on tumma, kuva on parhaimmilaan hämärässä tai täysin pimeässä. Jos katselet auringonvalossa tai kirkkaassa päivänvalossa, voi qled tai perus led olla parempi. Suosittelen vertailemaan liikkeessä, jos siihen on mahdollisuus.

Kokonaisuutena tyytyväinen, olisin ottanut napsua isomman, jos laatikko olisi mahtunut hissiin, tämä meni juuri ja juuri .

Superb value, outstanding picture quality at a very reasonable price. The tv was easy to set up. I am very reasonable very pleased with the tv and would end without hesitation.

Kaukosäädin ei hyvä vanhempi malli oli käyttäjäystävällisempi!

Olisi hyvä jos Lg:lä olisi saatavana vaikka lisä tarvikkeena Valaistu kaukosäädin Tarvetta olis!

I am extremely unhappy that i choose to buy this device, I've had nothing but trouble with it since I bought it.

The UI (user interface) is terrible, the apps available are seriously limited, and it's about as smart as a Rusty nail.

Sound keeps going silent when i change Source, and the remote nearly functions with any additionally attached devices.

I'm shocked to see so many positive reviews. Only found this area as i am looking to exchange the product.

TV ollut nyt 5kk käytössä ja näyttö on hyvä mutta se ei riitä ,käyttöjärjestelmällä ei saa näkyviin esim. mtv3 palvelusta mitään ,selaimen kautta ei kanssa saa näkyviin esim F1 Tv sivua ym.

Having treated ourselves to a New OLED 65inch TV, from the moment we opened the box you could see the quality of the product even down to the packaging.

This is our 4th LG TV for our household and each one gets better and better. The set up was super easy, picture and sound quality is like being in a 4K Cinema and it looks awesome on our wall. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone wanting superb clarity and amazing Dolby ATMOS sound. Thanks LG !!!!

It is a bit early to try to write a review because it has only been installed for a couple of days.

Good - Picture has plenty of detail and black is black

Poor - Image brightness is significantly lower than the C1 model.

Lack of manual to reference when setting up is a nuisance

Smart TV page isn't very clear and on 48" screen you have to scroll down to find input options.

Doesn't appear to include Freesat tuner.

Summary. I would pay extra for the C1 or C2 model

Bought this yesterday to replace my existing 65” LED 4k to and the difference in picture quality is insane! Wow!

We needed a mid sized Freesat TV with a good picture so opted for this model. The picture is really excellent, the contrast is much better than our other TV (Panasonic OLED) as are the blacks.

The main downside is the really awful remote supplied with the TV. It was lacking buttons we use all the time e.g. pause/rewind so we ended up buying a replacement traditional style.
