But, I have two CX1s and can not use the power adapter of one with the other. So, I grudgingly had to purchase this product. The good news is that it works but, only on the one for which I purchased it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered a new power adapter because my old adapter was getting very hot. I easily found the one for my Yoga7. When I got it and plugged it in I also noticed that the plug for my PC was much tighter than my old one and stayed in much better. My old one had gotten lose due my carelessness of tripping over the cord when getting up. My new adapter does not get as hot as my old one, so it was time to get a new one. My PC is about 3 years old, and running great so the small investment in the adapter was well worth it.

I lost the charger that came with my laptop only a few weeks after i got it. My old laptop charger was only giving a "slow charge" for some reason so i got this one and all my problems were solved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would give it 5 stars if when ordering a new Thinkpad it wasn't suggested that I purchase this charger which implied that the Thinkpad didn't come with a charger. I could not find that information when ordering. All in all, it wasn't expensive and having an extra comes in very handy because I don't have to bring a charger to work and then home and then back to work. The battery lasts a really long time so you will forget to bring a charger when you need one. Having a spare is pretty handy. Though, I think having swappable batteries that can be charged off PC is better.

This power adapter works adequately, but the cable that connects the adapter to the plug is too loose (that is the other end from the plug itself) and keeps coming out, which means that my battery doesn't continue to charge. I need to constantly check that the cable is connected to the adapter. This doesn't happen with my older adapter, so I didn't expect this problem. I bought this extra adapter so that I could keep one at home and carry one to work when I bring my laptop to work.
