I bought my first SRS-XB13 a couple of years ago to listen to podcasts while washing. It's great, and works well enough for music whist doing tasks that I thought I'd invest in another to use the stereo pair function. Unfortunately, the new unit I have has a different revision of the firmware and the two will not pair. This is disappointing since that was the reason for buying a second speaker. The only reservation I have in awarding a one star is that my new speaker does work for the single speaker function. I would add that if you only want one, then I can recommend this product. Perhaps the updated model would be a better buy?

I had the speaker for about a year and I'm very pleased with the sound and the ease of connection with my phone.

Speaker is good with smooth crisp sound but it is not loud enough.

This is my second one of these due to my last one getting stolen from work. The sound is amazing it fills our warehouse with great joy with all my ecclectic sounds

Great little speaker perfect for just chucking in your bag or car in case you'll be playing music. Its a perfect size to just take with you without having to worry about carrying a big speaker and taking up too much space/weight and it's even better since you can use the loop on it to attach around objects to keep it up out of the way. The sound quality and volume from this speaker are amazing for the size of it and are really well balanced without any buzzing at its max volume like similar small speakers I have tried in the past. A great speaker for throwing in your bag and forgetting about, with great sound and volume for its size just don't expect it to compare to your much larger speakers.

Day 2 and won't connect to any smartphone in house

I acquired the speaker on 18th May and am delighted with it. The sound is great and I am using it with audio books rather than using headphones.

What Hifi favoured the big brother of these speakers, but I took a chance, since I wanted a pair of portables for poolside use. I chose the funky lemon/lime colour which vibes well with my seaside location. I put them through their paces with some proper dance anthems. The bass from these little babies is quite amazing. Best purchase in a long while. Well done Sony!

I bought two a month back. We use to listen to spoken word rather than music and have them paired.

Although they were sold as having good bass and therefore aimed at music the uality of the spoken word is fine. They were easy to pair and have good battery life and look good.

The only negative is the volume steps are quite large.

This is 4th SONY speaker of this type I have bought as they are so good. My wife and sister love theirs, and I have one in the bedroom and the newest one is in the work room.

I bought 2. Great clarity but not as loud as I would like. Complicated to join them together for stereo sound. I did manage eventually.

Great little speaker, does what it says on the box. Brilliant colour complementing my room.

Bought it a little while ago, but the sound is a little tin like.

I think there should be some settings to adjust the sound for the speaker but it doesn't seem to work with any apps.

Good, and loud but i have a few of Sony's products so I expected more from this

Very handy design, good quality sound for such a small speaker. Use it every morning in the bathroom to wake me up and get me going for the day
