Super clear picture, really easy to use and set up and isn't too big and bulky, you can barely tell its there. Annoying that you have to pay for subscription but it's very useful to have on your phone. The wire is long enough to put the camera in a high place if needed. Great bit of kit.

I positioned the camera in a window the cover the back garden as it is a wired model it was slightly restricting on where I could put it to get the views I wanted eventually I got this perfect l. The initial set up was very easy all guided by a app I had no connectivity issues at all. I would highly recommend the Arlo brand to anyone who is looking to improve their home security.

The app is easy to set up and watch what is happening along with recordings. It’s a nice compact design which is good as it means it’s not intrusive in a nicely decorated area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This camera is for use indoors and is mains powered, using the WiFi so you do need a good signal.

It was easy to set up, I downloaded the camera app and followed the instructions, which were clear and reasonably easy to follow.

The camera needs a smart hub, and I used Amazon Alexa. I did find that when I was notified of movement in my home the notification took quite a while to come through to my phone.

I was also able to watch live or recorded footage on my phone. The night vision is good. Overall a nice easy to use indoor camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is exactly what I was looking for in an indoor camera - HD camera, night vision, easy to set up, good connectivity straight to WiFi without needing direct router cabling (one of the most annoying things with other indoor cameras!!) and the app is really useful. Would recommend.

• Easy to set up
• connects to wifi approximately 8-10 metres away inside my house
• picture and audio quality is good
• no SD card required.
• categorises detections by person, vehicle, animal and other and you can switch off notifications for the categories you don’t want. This isn’t an important feature to me but might be for some.
• battery lasts up to a couple of weeks.
• can delete unwanted clips.
• spotlight is reasonably bright
• colour night vision is good quality
• app interface is quite good, though not perfect.
  
  

Cons

• less ability to adjust settings, most clips are way too short (10-15 seconds) and finish before the event is finished. This is important in my case.
• because of the above, the camera can be triggered again immediately if an event is ongoing leading to multiple clips and lots of notifications for essentially what is one event.
• fails to detect motion every time. For example one evening it didn’t even catch the postie walking straight past it, like it usually does
• way too many notifications! I get multiple notifications for ONE short event usually in quick succession so it sounds like my phone is going off constantly. Can drive you insane. You can mute them but this defeats the point of being alerted to activity. You can adjust motion detection sensitivity but that defeats the purpose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found it easy to set up and position how I wanted it. Downloading the app and connecting it was simple also. The camera did everything that it should, alerting me when it was triggered and the night vision mode is very clear. Once viewed it's simple to delete videos saved in the cloud if they are not needed. I'm quite impressed with the quality of the images

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the interactive of this camera I am able to talk to my children while I'm at work and my husband is with the children. Great if I have to nip upstairs and I can see what they are getting up to. Can be used as a great baby monitor aswell as home security.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never owned a camera before and was worried this would be complicated but the set up was simple and it's so easy to use. The design is small and not unsightly looking on the wall. The features are amazing, the picture quality is great and I love the night vision. My favourite thing is that I can easily speak to my teenaged daughter through the camera when I'm out and can clearly hear her talking back and see that she's ok. I haven't paid for the subscription to get the extra features like cloud storage but I'm considering it as I'm so impressed with this device. I would definitely recommend this camera to others and think it's brilliant for people checking in on older children or pets when they are home alone as well as for the added security. I'm so pleased with it that I'm thinking of getting another for my kitchen!

So simple and easy to set up just download the app and follow the instructions for it. I've havent got it fitted properly yet but have been testing it out, the camera quality is brilliant and it picks up on the sound, you get. A notification everytime it detects movement and it will record a short clip during that time. The sound is clear and i love that you can set off an intruder alarm through the app. Its really loud and would be a great deterrent. Im still sussing out some of the features for it but so far i am really pleased with it! Definitely recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The camera is super easy to set up; the instructions were easy to follow and I was up and running within just a few minutes. The picture quality is also great. The only downside I’ve experienced so far is a slight lag between movement and viewing on my phone - but nothing major! Overall a great product and I would certainly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the set up of the the camera fairly easy I also found that the installation and setting my camera in place was easy to do I thought the instructions and side so simple to follow along with the app that runs alongside is also great I haven't had any issues at all. The camera quality is brilliant too I can see clearly I haven't really had any problems or issues with this camera is definitely a higher quality camera than the one I had for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression was how modern and stylish it looks , you can put it in any part of the house .This is the best indoor camera ,I used it to watch my baby while sleeping , I feel secure to be able to watch him on my phone at all times ! it's very reassuring as well to hear when he cries as it has the feature of a 2 ways sound so I can comfort the baby through the app ! He could hear me and stopped crying ,which is amazing ! I would recommend to anyone who wants a modern and secure camera with many features , it's so easy to set up and to install the App and the hd quality of the image is perfect !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality is clear and detailed . The video image is high resolution with vibrant colours. Also impressive is the night vision mode, which automatically activates in low light or night time.

Unit has a 2 way microphone function for crisp clear sound and a user activated alarm siren if required. Motion detection is excellent and not to oversensitive sending a push alert back to your mobile phone via the app when something is detected.

I also really like the privacy feature where the camera shuts a sensor over the image when activated to give you that sense of privacy and not being watched when your at home

Configuration and setup was easy. I downloaded the free app for my mobile phone. I can view and store all video images using my mobile phone and it's storage capacity.

I'm really happy with the Arlo Essential Indoor Camera, It has met my expectations, and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Set up was super simple, literally take out box, plug in and its ready. Paired up super quick too and added to my existing app/products. Resolution is to Arlo's usual great standards. Great coverage/view of the room and adding a defined area of movement was a game changer..only activating sensors around the door area was great . Would recommend to friends and family. Loving the products Arlo!

Turns out I didn’t need to worry, this is an amazing bit of kit. Very easy to set up, learn about and use. Easy to position, good image quality and audio. Excellent notifications to your phone and playback. Highly recommend.
