I’ve been using my powershot zoom for a few weeks now. Pretty much use it to take photos of birds I see locally. Excellent quality pictures. Good connectivity to app. Only issue is the battery life. If I’m on a 90 minute walk I now tend to turn the powershot zoom off between uses. (I know there is an auto off feature) I was in the middle of filming a video yesterday and once again the battery icon flashed red and the kit powered down.

It’s a great little product and I have been pleasantly surprised by picture quality. It can’t compete with cameras with huge lenses, but it’s a lot easier to carry.

I have found my cannon powershot zoom a very handy tool had it for around one month and extremely pleased very easy to use with my mobile, zoom is great.

Great camera fits in your pocket and very handy and useful just what I wanted

• The UI seams old.
• size of the product is great, fits into you pocket
• AF is not really good, resulting in some 20-30 percent blurry Kodak moments
• picture quality is great when the focus is spot on
• battery life is not too great
• the unit are missing it’s own GPS chip (you need to connect manually to you phone every time the camera is used, in order to get GPS coordinates with the pictures.
• when there is a bit dark, my 12 MP IPhone takes better pictures
• value for money, well the price tag is pretty high compared to what you get.
  
  

I guess the market is small, and there is not many alternatives, the this may be the Best Buy.

The pictures produced are excellent. Connecting to my Mac to download the photographs is a little longwinded, as is deleting the images from the SD card. Don't let the battery go flat as you have to go through the tiresome procedure of setting the date and time again.

The Powershot zoom is a really useful innovation. Wonderfully compact and light, there’s no hesitation about popping it your pocket for any occasion. I’d also been looking for something small with a viewfinder, which is becoming increasingly difficult to find. The monocular style means it’s easy to use my left, better vision, eye.

Now the cons . . . Despite having a 12Mp rating the images are extremely grainy. Am guessing this is due to the small len’s and anti-shake software. Great if you’re only after a record or to check species once back home, but not good enough to be an award winning photograph.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m really happy with my new “gadget”. However, for the price I’d have hoped for a better quality lens, even if this adds a bit to size and weight.

I bought this in summer and maybe i was expecting something more, but having used it a few times it’s back in box. Firstly the zoom is three stage and not continuous throughout range.Also the video quality when used hand held is very shaky. Sorry Canon love your products but this one is not for me.

I bought this a month ago. You want to take close-up pictures, but you do not want to go around with a big camera and a big lens. Then this is a good option, actually one of the ery few options I could find. It is handy, you keep it in your pocket. The buttons are a little awkwardy placed after my taste, but its something one gets used to.

Where ever I go its in my pocket, compact, versatile, instantly ready. Certainly does the job. Superb product.

For detail photos of wildlife, 8x telephoto is not enough especially with such a small sensor size which image does not really stand cropping.

I have only had this two weeks but have used it on country walks and at a local RSPB location and have been very impressed with both its ease of use, portability and excellent results. Read the instructions and it becomes so easy to use.

Ja että Canonin oma riittävä laturi on sikakallis (jos sellaisen jostain sattuisi löytämään). (En pysty arvioimaan tuotetta, sillä odottelen vielä laturia jolla laitteesta saisi toimintakelpoisen.) Been hiking in the mountains and instead of bringing my DSLR with heavy zoom lenses, I used the powershot Zoom to do the work together with my mobile phone. Good to pictures but not as binocolars.

I’ve had my camera now for a couple of months and am really happy with it.

It’s easy to carry around, to have when you might need it.

I bought this to use mainly a monocular. For me, the minimum focus distance in full Zoom of 4.5m is the main disappointment. Focusing in poor light is also a bit of an issue. But overall I'm satisfied. (I found it charged from my laptop after. initially, not finding anything that would charge it including a portable powerbank - it should be bundled with a charger).

Kamera mitä parhain lisälaite auton varusteisiin. Helppo käyttää, Hyvä kuvanlaatu, hyvä videokuva.

Ainoa asia joka harmittaa, unohdin tilausta tehdessä että tämähän onkin kamera johon olisi saanut 3v takuun.

Luotan kuitenkin Canonin laatuun etten viitsi palauttaa laitetta ja tilata uudestaan myöhemmin.

Have had the camera a couple of weeks now and am really pleased. Small and lightweight to carry on walks, easy to use and takes good photos and short films - land- and sea-scapes and wildlife.

I use a Juice charger which gives a fast charge which lasts all day.

Viewing pics on my phone and downloading to my laptop is easy.

It's been a good buy for me.

Bought this as a handy camera for wildlife shots some distance away. I like it but do have difficulty sometime keeping it steady and don't always know when I have taken a shot

Disappointed by its poor picture quality.

Bought unseen for general use as previously owned Canon products. Sadly it would not charge, instructions were poor, operating was a guess, and build standard poor. Was returned.

No Charger is supplied and normal 5V USB chargers and Powerpacks is not compatible

This was a gift. I would recommend this camera with the caution that you must give yourself time to get to know how it works best. It is disappointing that it can’t be used with a tripod for those extra special shots but on the whole it is a great little camera for watching wildlife.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and would give it 5 stars but you cant use it straight out the box cos you need a charger plug and a memory card. That said I love it. I've had complements on the few photos I've taken. They're easy to download to my phone and although the options are limited in photo manipulation they are good enough. Focus has been mentioned as an issue but if its focusing on the wrong distance just point to something clear of anything else at that distance and half press the photo button then while its pressed move to the scene you want. Simples. I think it's great.

Since I bought this item I suspect it could be improved, but overall not bad.
