Pätevä laite kameravalvontaa varten, ovikellona hankala.

Ovikello on hyvän näköinen, iso mutta ulkonäöltään asiallinen. Paketissa ei ole ohjeita mutta sovellus auttaa asennuksessa. Mukana on myös vinoasennussarja, jolla saa kameran osoittamaan enemmän ovelle- tai ulospäin.

Kalansilmälinssinen kamera alkaa nauhoittaa heti kun havaitsee liikettä ja tallentaa kaiken pilvipalveluun. Videopätkät tulee loogisesti sovellukseen josta niitä voi tarkastella ja ladata.

Käytin laitetta akullisena, sillä vanhan ovikellon johtoihin tuli ikävä kyllä vain viiden voltin virta. Muuntajia saisi toki erikseen. Akun latausta varten ovikello täytyy irroittaa seinästä jolloin nauhoitus on pois käytöstä.

Ovikellopuoli ei oikein toimi ilman lisälaitteita. Ovikelloon saa lisätarvikkeena summerin, mutta ilman lisäsummeria ovikello soittaa ainoastaan puhelimeen. Yhdistin myös ovikellon Google Assistantiin, jolla sai Google Nestiin ilmoituksen "Someone is at the front door". Välitöntä videokuvaa ovikelloa painaessa Nestiin ei kuitenkaan saa kuten firman omalla ovikellolla.

Lisälaitteiden avulla tämä olisi viiden tähden ovikello. Nyt se on vain viiden tähden kamera.

[Tämä arvostelu kerättiin osana kampanjaa.] Ulkomuodosta ei käy kovinkaan hyvin ilmi, että kyseessä on ovikello, ovella olevat vieraat eivät siis välttämättä ymmärrä painaa nappulaa. Kameran kuvan laatu on ihan ok, mutta yhteys ei meinaa aina muodostua. Myöskään puhe ei aina toimi/kuulu. Puhelimeen tuleva ns. liikehälytys on ihan näppärä.

Ensivaikutelma tuotteesta hyvä ja asennus oli helppoa. Mukana tullut kulmalevy oli plussaa jotta kameran sai oikeaan asentoon.

Harmikseni tajusin että laite kaipaa liaälaitteena summerin joka voisi kuulua kyllä pakettiin ilman lisämaksua tai sitten vaatii vanhan (8-28vac) ovikellon koska ilman näitä ilmoitus tulee vain puhelimeen kun ovikelloa painaa. Akkukäyttöisenä miinusta tuo se että kun ovikelloan lataa niin se ei ole silloin käytössä.

Kamera on tarkka ja pimeälläkin hyvä kuva. Kameran kuva kalansilmä tyylinen mutta se ei haitannut itseä.

Kuukausimaksut kun alkaa menemään niin täytyy harkita tarkasti onko tämä sen arvoinen laite.

Ovikellona tällä hetkellä kehno mutta kamerana hyvä kun tietää ketkä kaikki on oven takana käynyt.

[Tämä arvostelu kerättiin osana kampanjaa.] The video doorbell is really easy to setup and the Android app functionality is pretty fine also for hobbyists. However the delay form someone pushing the doorbell and until it rings in my phone is not the best, usually takes 5 seconds before it rings and that is too long in my opinion. Also I would have appreciated more technical functionality like being able to stream the RTSP video to a camera surveillance server but since the doorbell is only battery powered in my case that would probably have drained the battery too fast.

I have been using the doorbell for 2 weeks now and with outside temperatures from 5-12 degrees C the battery is already down to 60% so the promised 3 months of battery is most probably too high, at least for this climate.

Soittaa ovikellon jälkeen puhelimeen ja näkee kuka siellä on sekä pystyy puhumaan ihmisen kanssa vaikka ei painaiskaan nappia.

Ominaisuuksia on monia.

Miinusta annan kokeiluversiosta, jonka jälkeen se pitää ostaa vaikka voisi tulla laitteen mukana.

I bought this a few weeks ago and overall very okease

Got this as a freebie with alarm but this where good stuff ends. First ia only supports 2.4ghz wireless. Next is poor timing as delay is massive . Even i have set zone yet is picking anything as well i removed pets and here same problem.....you guessed it it picks them regaldless . Was hoping for better picture quality at this price mark. Communication and connection time as it can take ages and by then people disappear. Overall its going to be removed to make space for something more reliable

I reviewed a number of similar products and decided this was the best and worth the wait for release in the Uk. Very happy with the product.

Bought this following the description of being able to have a two way conversation with whoever is at the door and pressed the door bell, our mobile phone rings but when we answer no one can hear us or vi-verser.

I'm very pleased with my new doorbell - the picture quality and communication features are excellent but I need it to be available 24/7. At the time of writing this Arlo offers a spare battery in USA, Australia and New Zealand but so far, not in UK. Arlo should either provide an integrated charging connector or sell spare batteries.

An absolutely amazing bit of kit that I believe every house needs. I feel so much happier and secure since I’ve installed the Arlo wireless doorbell on my front door.

It detects any motion, person or animal and alerts me on my phone. I have also set the app up on my husbands phone so he gets the alerts too. We can speak to any delivery drivers or anyone at the door via the two way speaker even when we are 100s of miles away from home. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a camera doorbell.

The battery has so far lasted me for two months without charge. Will be buying more Arlo products in the future for sure. Also to add the camera is 100% crystal clear during the day and night. Really top piece of tech !

Great product easy to set up.

Only gripe I had were around the fixings supplied as very low quality. So save time and frustration and source your own screws and wall plugs.

Have bee using for a month on one charge. Images good quality.

I bought this camera as an addition to my existing Arlo security system. Unfortunately unlike the other other products, including the wired version of the same doorbell (AVD1001). The wireless version (AVD2001) can’t connect to the Arlo Base Station and can only connect to a 2.4Ghz home Wi-Fi network. A decision that I personally find baffling, considering every other Arlo product can connect to an Arlo Base Station. It just seems that it was a rushed release and that the software wasn’t finished in time. The doorbell loses connection frequently for no reason, as my Wi-fi router is only the other side of the wall, so there is no lack of signal.

If the camera connected to the existing Arlo base station and didn’t keep needing to be resynced then I would without doubt give it 5 stars. The quality is and usability is amazing.... when it works.

Great product, video quality is great and the motion sensor works well. Very little time lag between the camera and my phone. I had the original non video door bell that was really bad with lag

Useful but battery doesn't last as long as I would like, so having it wired in by an electrician before going on holday.

Good product and looks slick, but the lag in connectivity makes it nearly useless.

Very easy to install ,great product to invest i will recomend to everyone .

Love feeling protected and having the option to tell the post man where to put my parcel. It’s was easy to put on the wall and set up. The battery lasts ages and the quality is amazing. The app is easy to work and the motion sensor can be turned on and off for humans, vehicles and animals. You also a get notifications straight to your phone

It was time to replace my old traditional doorbell and I wanted to switch to something latest and found arla wireless. It was very easy to fix, fixed without any help from my husband. For my door I needed a tilted view and it was perfect. Anything within the angle I get the notification immediately. As well people walking on the road are also recorded which is nearly 10-15ft away from my drive way. The images are clear. It stores the video with audio. Night vision is very clear. I could recieve my deliveries even if am not home through the calling system. Anywhere I am still I know what's happening in my door. Any emergency I also have option of siren. If required I can even wire it. So far going good with wireless rechargeable battery. Am totally happy with the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install, battery life not bad and good video quality. Like that it can call your phone when the doorbell rings, much better than waiting for an app to load.

Sometimes there is a bit of a delay with the call coming through but otherwise not too bad. Quite a pricey doorbell but seems to work better than some of the more well known competitors (family members have those and have reported more problems than I seem to have had with this).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wired doorbell stopped working a while ago now, and I have been looking at wireless replacements for some time. What drew me to this product was its slim design and it's 180° viewing angle which for me set it slightly ahead of the pack.

Installing the doorbell was very straight forward and I found the app relatively easy to use as well. The only slight issue I had was that it felt like I was getting quite a lot of notifications throughout the day for motion detection. You can edit the activity zones, but only if you sign up to the paid subscription. For now I have decided to just switch off the notifications when I am at home but I am considering getting the subscription to use this product to its full potential.
